Robinton's at the piano, slowly getting the hang of chords.

Something resembling a 'melody' is beginning to form, as well.

But a story would help.

[ooc: edit/summary- The Masterharper and the Forsaken Bard talk. Asmodean succeeds in scaring the harper to death. Zedd and Robinton discuss the availability of music, and Liz Imbrie stops by for *cough*slowtime*cough* more examination of the harper's hands.]

"A pleasure to meet you Masterharper."

He is serious when he says this.

"If I can lift one persons spirits, than it has been a day well spent."

"And that's a good use for the flute. Play me a bar?"

He grins.

"You've heard my poor piano- though it's but my second day."

"For your second day, you do very well."

He places the plute to his lips and plays a ten second song very beautifully.

Robinton watches closely, and nods in approval.

"Note perfect. Quite lovely, my thanks."

Zedd smiles happily.

"No thanks needed as long as you enjoyed it. Do you have a weapon of choice?"

Robinton sits up abruptly.

"I beg your pardon?"

Zedds laughed heartily at his surprise.

"I meant do you have a favorite thing to play."

He smiles ruefully, and nods.

"I play many instruments. But the harp is among my favourites."

He nods towards the case on top of the piano.

He nods, appearently thinking.

"I haven't heard the flute and harp play alone together, I'm not sure if it could be made to sound very good. I don't have much knowledge in most music I am sad to admit."

"That is a shame. Were you not taught, in your youth?"

He frowns. It's part of his duties to make sure things like that don't happen. Of course, a different world is a bit beyond his reach... but all the same.

Zedd shakes his head.

"Sadly, no. It is a very busy life to be raised as a wizard, and my world isn't exactly that well known for it's music."

He paused breifly.

"I only picked up the flute about four or five months ago as the time goes here."

"I see. Well, from what I saw, you've come very quickly."

He cocks his head.

"You've learned well."

A small smile hits his face.

"Thank you, I've tried to learn as best I can."

He thinks for a moment.

"I haven't had a chance to play with anyone before, would you be interested to try sometime?"

"Perhaps another night. But for now, I'm afraid I should sleep. It's been a very long day."

He stands, scooping up the harp, and bows slightly.

"It's been a pleasure, Master Wizard."

He returns the bow.

"It was also a pleasure to meet you Masterharper. Rest well."
