Robinton is in the bar.
Playing, (shakily) the piano.
But 'lo! He is improving.
Come say hello or offer tips.

A mostly awake Venkman stopped by the piano, hearing the music.
He studied the man thoughtfully, "Hi there. New around here?"
no subject
He keeps playing.
"I foudn a door a few weeks ago. The Bar seems to believe I should stay."

He stills, and smiles.
"Masterharper Robinton, at your service."

Peter gave a small smile in return, "Dr. Peter Venkman. Nice to meet you. ...Masterharper, interesting title, guessing that's an honorary on your world?"
no subject

Peter then said, "It's just we don't have anything like that where I'm from. New York City, America, Earth, and it's 1991 there, by the way. Whereabouts are you from?"
no subject
He doesn't, though.
"I've never heard of New York. But everyone here seems to be from Earth. I'm from Pern, myself. A different world."

He arches an eyebrow.
"Are you serious?"

Peter then added, "What's a weyr?"
no subject
He smiles.
"Many of them were abandoned. And as apprentices we would be dared to spend a night alone. The caves echoed with the wind."
no subject
He nodded, "Anybody noticed something off or strange about these abandoned weyrs?"
no subject
He eyes him, trying to understand the stare.
"And yes. That's a dragon."
no subject
He added, "Ok, it's just in my world, dragons are considered to be myth, or something out of a cheap fantasy book."

"Uh, really? Wow. Must have been something." He uneasily replied, still staring a little.
no subject
A polite smile.
"But I'm afraid I must be going. It's growing late, and I've a lizard to feed before I sleep."

He stands, bows, and walks up the staircase to his room.
