Entrance Post
[OOM: In which Dr Robert Chase attempts to burn the midnight oil]
He tugged the door open, head down, eyes to the floor.
Something wasn't right. He pulled his head up, looking around.
He knew his boss liked to drink, but since when did he turn his office into a full service bar? When did he have time?
Chase blinked, trying to clear his mind.
He was hallucinating, that's all.
Riiiiight.
Come, you know you want to break in the newbie. At the very least, laugh at his perplexed expression. Mock his confusion, or ihs accent.

So it was a bit of a surprise to see Chase. He had to remind himself that this wasn't the hospital, so this wasn't a normal occurence. And since House hadn't mentioned anything, he was fairly sure that Chase was new here.
"Chase?" He asked in a surprised voice, blinking.
no subject
"Dr Wilson?"
But of course, of course Wilson would be in the bar that was House's office.
Even in hallucination, some things couldn't be denied.

So he guessed he could try to do the same for Chase. After all, they were co-workers, despite their different fields of work at the hospital.
"So I'm not imagining things," he said with a faint smile. "So, I'm guessing it's your first time here?"

"This is Milliways, also known as the bar at the end of the universe." Cue gesturing to the observation window.
no subject
"Fascinating." He quips.
"But where is House's office?"

"I just...sent my father off...I knew I wouldn't sleep if I went home so I thought I'd go back and do some paperwork."
no subject
"Well, there's no paperwork to be done here. But I can give you the rundown on how things work here, if you want to keep your mind off of things."

Chase sat down in the nearest empty chair.

"Well, as you know, this is the bar at the end of the universe. People come from all different sorts of places, times, and worlds. Things aren't like what they're back home." Which was true. There were healers, boys who got tortured...different sorts of people.

"So, it's like...parallel universes or something?"

no subject
"If you say so..." He shrugged. "Magic..." That word is accompanied by a shake of his head.

"Anything else I should know?"
no subject
"There's a few rules. If you don't follow them, security tends to throw you into the holding cells." Not that he'd seen it himself. "No violence and no sex in the bar. No business. And don't ask Snow White about the dwarves." Yeah, the last one was odd, but everyone seemed to say it, so. Might as well give Chase the heads up.

So he blinked a few times before he chuckled a bit.
"Good one, Chase."
no subject
"It's not that you're not attractive. just...not my type." Anyone who hung out with Greg house for fun could never be Chase's type.
"Uh. So. How do I get back home?"
no subject
"Well, you basically just exit through the door that you came in. Unless you can't see the door." Which would bring up another issue entirely.
