She's fought in a civil war, she's written a constitution, she's controlled politics on another planet, she has aquired a purple streak in her hair, where a Padawan's braid would be, in addition to losing a baby and finding a score of new friends. A lot of things have happened since Valentine last leaned against Bar with a tray in her arms, but she is there now, smiling, as if things are once again right with the world.

Valentine Skywalker has returned to duty. Anyone need a waitress?

"Are you two planning on going soon?"

"Well, technically, we were planning on going three weeks ago, but things just keep getting pushed back." She chuckles and shrugs a bit. "We'll go eventually." She raises an eyebrow at Jaina, but says nothing.

Jaina notices the raised eyebrow. "What is it, Val?"

Zekk glances between the girls.

Nothing, Jaina.
Why's she looking at us like that?
Maybe if we stop thinking 'bout...
Stow it!

"Nothing. Just... nothing. Don't worry about it." She waves it off. "I think I'm confusing myself again."

Jaina's not so eager to wave it off. "No, tell us."

If it weren't for the overwhelming stubborness radiating off Jaina, Zekk would be rolling his eyebrows right about now.

Skywalker-Solos are known to be stubborn. The galaxy knows this perhaps a bit too well. Val shrugs. "It's nothing. A mis-interpretation, likely." She smiles. "Nothing to bother anyone over."

"Mis-interpretation of what?"

That damn stubborness is going to get them killed someday. Force knows all the other messes it's gotten the Solo-Skywalker clan into.

"Facial expression" Val waves it off. "Really, it's nothing."

It's a shame, really that the Skywalker-Solos' downfall is stubbornness. Well, that and insane devotion to things.

"If you say so."

She'll let it slide, this once, cause her mun's getting really sleepy. Jaina shares a glance with Zekk. Part of her really wants to talk to Val about the fight with Jag, but at last minute, she's changed her mind.

"We'll see you soon, Val," Jaina says.

"Want to head upstairs," Zekk adds in.

Val smiles. "Definitely see you both soon." She waves. "Sleep well."
