"Oh, do you know my mother too? Aye. I'm afraid to ask what they said - it's good to meet you too, though," she smiles.

"You don't have anything to worry about, I've only heard good things. Well, Val was rather surprised to suddenly have a teenage daughter on her hands, but I'd say most people would be." He grins.

"Especially since we're only a few years apart now." Syfte is trying not to laugh. It's an effort. "Would you want a print of that? I took two, I think they both came out okay."

"She doesn't have any idea who my birth father is. Of course, I really like Luke, so it isn't bothering me much. It's an adventure. And ... pictures."

Syfte shrugs. "Oh, I can make multiple copies. Takes a little while, but it's good practice."
