"He-hey Penny. Test? No. It's more like a trial by fire. I'm running Happy Hour solo tonight. I'm in desperate need of a theme.

"That's what I'm saying! Right now all I've got working for me is something about how When the cat is away the Mice will play."

He doesn't seem overly thrilled with this idea.

How exactly is that a theme?

I a just a lowly kitchen girl... I don't do bartender stuff.

"I don't usually either, but shhhh. don't tell anyone."

So, how have you been other than the big scary right of passage solo bartending thing?

"Pretty good. Almost drowned a week or so back. That was fun."

You understand that isn't a good thing, right?

"Almost drowning? I don't know about you, but it seems like a damn good thing to me."

Oh well, I guess Almost is good. I was an Almost overdose awhile back so almost is definitely better than the alternative.
