Dick Grayson is an idiot. Some times more than others, and right now? Way more than usual. This is proven by nothing else than his physical appearance as he stumbles into the bar in dirty jeans and a hoodie. His brace is gone ( back in the alley, broken, gone ), and his leg ( already hurt, he's an idiot, why did he go ) is bleeding enough to leave a significant amount of the ripped jeans. It's admirable he's even managing to stand up, but he doesn't keep this admirable tactic up for long. Just flops down into the nearest chair and attempts not to break something as a way to take his mind off of the pain.

Okay. This boy? Needs -help-.

Val raises an eyebrow. "Ok, I think it's storytime." She grins. "Do tell, oh sneaky one."

Dick laughs again. "Name the most random thing you can think of," he challenges her.

"Um." Perhaps you shouldn't ask a Wiggin-Skywalker that. Really. "Nerf milk milkshake." She pauses. "Bar gave me one the other day. It was -nasty-."

Dick blinks, then grins. "Something that would be in my world, dear."

Val giggles. "Ooops. Sorry. Too many 'verses." She's grinning, rather like a teenager for some reason. "Alright. We'll stay in the same general idea. Strawberry milkshake."

Dick pauses, then snickers. A lot. "Oh, I'm not sure you want to hear that story."

"Oh, I think I do." Her eyes twinkle. "You have to tell me."

Dick grins slightly. "One word. Schoolgirl."

"Whose milkshake brings all the boys to the yard?" She's snickering a bit. Is that a dirty joke? From Val? The sky's falling, people.

Dick shakes his head slightly. "Baaad pop song, Val. And it did catch the bad guy." Is she catching the implication here?

"Wait a minute." She just got hit by an implication that she didn't like. "Hold on. Milkshake. Bad guy. Ew! Dick!"

Dick blinks, and raises an eyebrow. "Wait, what did you just think?" Maybe that didn't quite work the way he meant it to.

"Um, never mind, because I think it's wrong." She turns bright red. "Perhaps you should explain. In small words."

"I didn't do anything with the guy, if that's what you think." Dick shakes his head. "Not that he thought that was how it was going to go, but I do have standards."

Val chuckles and shakes her head. "Still. Ew." A grin crosses her face, though. "How about another story?"

"Name something else." Oh, this was going to be fun.

Her eyes twinkle. Hm. Challenge. "Abacus."

"Abacus, huh?" Dick scratches his head a little. "That reminds me of the time I had to go undercover as a student teacher. It was strange."
