Mike returns to the bar, having changed his ever present orange Hawaiian print shirt for something a little more subdued. You know, a blue one. Draped over one arm is a flowered wreath which appears to have been made with Two-Ply Facial Tissues. In the right light one can see that it has been sprayed with glitter. Placing the wreath down on the Bar, Mike sets about crafting the specials menu for the evening's Happy Hour in script is stylized, yet tasteful.

When the wreath is finally set in a place of prominence, Mike mixes himself a Rubber Duckie, and holds it aloft.

"Ladies and Gentlemen of Milliways. The Bar is now open. Let us drink to the memory of Senior Squeakins. May he delight those whom he meets, from now until the end of all things."

He downs the drink, and turns the now empty glass over, mouth down on the Bar.

"I mean, that's what I'm here for. To give you beer. There's no need for trouble. I'm just doing my job here."

He laughs. "Alright then. A beer please. Would it be safe to assume you're Mike?"

"It would be safe with the bases loaded to assume that I'm Mike. Do you have a beer preference mister.....?"

"George Cooper." George introduces himself, offering a hand. "I tend Bar on Tuesday nights.. And red ale, please.."

"Oh no way?! Damn, how long has that been going on? You with the working and us with the not meeting?"

Mike pulls him a red ale from the HUGE selection of taps on hand.

He laughs. "I've been here since January.." he says. "And in that time, I know I've barely managed to meet more than a handful of the staff here.."

"Well, I'm a just going to blame that on the whole Ninja thing, and not on the fact that I've been a shut in. That work for you?"

He laughs. "That works fine for me. I'm of the firm opinion that a good alibi is a necessity of life."

"And one you can actually back up in spades? Priceless."

George raises his glass. "Aye, I'll drink to that. So Mike, rumours of your.. exploits positively abound in this place. Is there any truth to them?"

Mike raises his upturned and empty glass to George's tapping them together in toast.

"Oh now isn't that a loaded question. But I'd say a good portion of them are true. I've been exploited."

George takes a sip. "That's not how Indytells it..."

"Yeah well, that's from a guy who brings a whip to a sword fight."

George laughs. "I'll keep that in mind. So what else do you do, when you're not tending bar?"

"Um...nearly drown, have lots of sex, make waffles on Wednesday, walk my miniphant, annoy my family and my roommate, oh and fight evil ninjas."

"You nearly drown quite often then?" he asks, raising an eyebrow.

"No no. Just the once. But it was such an event that it seems to top most of my lists."

He laughs again. "I'm sure it's a harrowing tale. Perhaps you'd be willing to tell it to me, at some point in the future." He grins. "Well Mike, it's been.. amusing. I hope we have the chance to talk again.."

"Heh, and here's hoping the next time won't take a good eight months to plan. Have a good one!"

George nods. "Same to you."

He raises his glass to Mike, then wanders away into the bar.
