There is one very tired-looking Wash sitting at the Bar, beer in hand.

Despite the obvious exhaustion, he hasn't stopped smiling since he stepped into Milliways. Making it through the almost-end of the 'verse with your wife by your side tends to brighten things a bit.

[ooc: mun is only here for an hour and a half, sadly, but slowtime is more than welcome. :D]

She shrugs, but in no way resists the hug. There may even be fierce hugging back.
"I had good help."

"Almost wish I could've seen it." With cheery casualness: "But, you know, distracted by the giant talking gap of nothing in the middle of space. You wanna give me a repeat performance sometime?"

"Anytime." Though, maybe please without the not-Doctor-thing and the not-human things and the mindtrap thing?

Ta.

She steals some blueberries for herself, since they're just sitting there.

....Yeah, maybe not so much with those.

Wash tosses a blueberry in a high arc and catches it in his mouth.

And another one bounces off his nose.

Ace looks so innocent.

Wash is shocked at this treachery! Shocked, I tell you!

He also has absolutely nothing to do with the blueberry that's suddenly found its way into her hair. Nope. Not at all.

This means war!

Blueberry downyer shirt!

"Ack!"

Dammit, those things are cold. Wash yelps, hands scrabbling at his shirt as he tries to dig it out.

Somehow, with all the flailing he's doing, he still manages to grab three more berries and fling them at Ace.

She manages to eat one, but the other two...

One thwaps her solidly between the eyes.

The other twaps her ear as it goes by.

Of course, immediate reaction to being hit between the eyes with a blueberry? Reach up to slap at the blueberry.

Ace now has smooshed blueberry on her hand. And on her face. Ick?

"Oops."

His eyes are dancing. Innocently, he picks up another blueberry and pops it into his mouth.

Then, because he really is a good brother type, he asks Bar for a napkin and hands it to her.

Primly she wipes off the offending blueberry guts. She's only just gotten clean after the last mess, and she still hasn't figured out how to salvage her coat.
"That's it. That sort of treason gets only one reward."

Brightly, "A free hovercraft?"

Terribly fake scowl.

"I'm feeding you to the geese."

He puts his hand over his heart and assumes a dignified pose. It's a little tricky while trying not to crack up.

"Well. Nothing I can do to stop it," he says with a sigh. "It's a truly honorable death and I'll go to it with...honor."
