Chase, yawning, slouches down the stairs and takes a seat at the bar. "Just coffee and some toast, thanks."
The Bar obliges. Next to the toast, however, a small cupcake with a candle on it also materializes, with the number 27 written on it in frosting.
Chase blinks. It takes a few sips of coffee for this to register.
"Oh!" He grins, and bites into the cupcake. "Thanks, Bar."
Anyone want to come wish Chase a happy birthday?

'White frosting Edmunds? Is that courtesy of Castle by any chance? I've heard all about the two of you...'
Yeah, he's laughing, a lot.
[OOC: Sorry couldn't resist - he's not staying though, don't worry... :D]

Chase tenses as he recognizes the voice, and flinches at the mention of Lee. He grimaces, disgusted, and has to put the cupcake down, because...ew.
"It's sad that you don't have anything better to be thinking about right now, Salazar."

'Oh, after the week I just had Edmunds, it's pretty surprising I can think about anything else.' Hence the chilled and smug expression. 'Still, I cant say I've given you and Castle any thought because I dont want to make myself sick. But you do make a lovely couple I'd say...might have to fight Andres for him but that shouldn't be too hard.'
He claps Chase on the shoulder and laughs. 'Well, I'll leave you to your little cake. Just wanted to say hi - I'm sure I'll be seeing you and Kim around. And your daughter.'
He leaves, laughing.

He notices that the Bar has changed the frosting on his cupcake to chocolate, and sighs. "Thanks, Bar," he says quietly.
It's a safe bet to say that his birthday isn't very happy thus far.
