Chase, yawning, slouches down the stairs and takes a seat at the bar. "Just coffee and some toast, thanks."

The Bar obliges. Next to the toast, however, a small cupcake with a candle on it also materializes, with the number 27 written on it in frosting.

Chase blinks. It takes a few sips of coffee for this to register.

"Oh!" He grins, and bites into the cupcake. "Thanks, Bar."

Anyone want to come wish Chase a happy birthday?

Well, the thing is, he's not, but I'm such a terrible liar that I don't know how I ever got a job with the government in the first place, he most definitely does not say.

"I could, but whether he believed me or not, he'd still keep doing it if he knew it would piss me off." He shakes his head disgustedly.

"It doesn't matter anyway. Salazar can go fuck himself. I'm not going to let him bother me."

"That's a good plan. And you are correct. He would indeed."

He shrugs. "I'd be willing to bet that Castle will be getting the same treatment."

Chase tries to look apathetic and dismissive. "Sucks for Castle, then."

Andres snorts. "Indeed." But says nothing more.

"Anyway." He contemplates the cupcake, but doesn't feel like eating any more of it, especially after Ramon's comment about the frosting.

"What have you been up to?"

"Catching up on sleep, reading, planning. Entertaining crazy people."
*Shrug* "The usual around this place"

"Planning for what?" He ditches the cupcake and takes a curious sip of coffee.

"A trip. Home, out of the bar. That's the important part."

"So you're UnBound?" He might sound a little envious. "Where do you live when you're not at Milliways?"

"I am. My world is called Theah, the country, Castille. Similar to Spain, of Earth, it seems."

He hadn't realized Andres was from another planet. "That's cool. What year is it there?" He's not good with gauging time periods based on fashion.

"1660s currently. Assuming time isn't ridiculously far off." *Shrug*

"Just going by the clothes, it sounds about right."

He snorts.

"Yes, well. The rest of you all look the same to me, as I do not have historical fashions from your time to study."

Chase arches an eyebrow, but he doesn't offend quite as easily as Lee, and so does not take this personally.

"Well, around here, you don't have to."

He blinks, not quite understanding, but nods.

"Very true. I suppose."
