That magazine will feel the Wrath of Demosthenes, for certain, and also of Trillian, astrophysicist and friend.

She also has a glass of merlot. Yes, before noon.

Perhaps it's inspiration.

Trillian looks a bit concerned. "What year are you from?"

She blinks. "AD 2005. Why?"

"... not my Earth, then. My Earth exploded, for the final time, in 1992."

More blinking.

"Your Earth exploded? Multiple times?"

"Yep. Twice. When the Vogons that demolished it the first time found out about the fact that there was a rebuilt version? They blew that one up too."

A moment of silence for Trillian's lost home.

"Sometime, maybe I'll visit another England. See if they're similar."

"I get the impression that most worlds are more similar than we expect."
