Eating eggs benedict. With roast tomato.

Breakfast IS the first meal of the day, after all. And he didn't bother with that or lunch, so...

He shrugs, and parries the blow.

"As it so happens, I don't need to."

He smirks. Rather well.

"And you're getting the hang of it. I'll back up, now you repeat the motion."

He snorts and shakes his head.

And so he does as instructed. Still unusual for him, but he's finding it's not nearly as bad as expected. He repeats again, aiming for the spot where Random had been standing.

"Good."

He moves to stand next to Parnasse, adjusting his arm as he leans forwards.

"try experimenting with aim. Making your sword connect lower... nowhere below the waist."

He snorts again, this time mirthfully.

Then shrugs. "I suppose I can accept that."

And Oh look, an invisible belly button!

Random nods, and adjusts his arm again.

"Protect your torse. Try again."

He attempts to form as narrow a target as possible and lunges again.

"So when do we get to the part where you decide I'm not such a good pupil and give up?" He grumbles, somewhat disgruntled .

"Not in my nature."

He smirks.

"You stop being a good pupil when you stop reacting to my suggestions and start to assume you're better than I am. That's the point where I've nothing left to teach you."

He shrugs. "Fair enough. That's probably about eh, ten thousand years off."

A smirk and,
One more lunge for good measure.

He laughs, and settles down at the base of a tree.

"Possibly. Depending on whether or not you're a fast learner. But it's more an issue of cockiness than actual talent."

Another shrug. Still standing.

"I've got that." And determiniation.

"I have not had opportunities to learn much but what I do know, I picked up quickly. We shall see."

A cocked head.

"I'm going to teach you everything I can, but there's no way I can teach you everything I know."

"Only fair."

He smirks.

"Safer that way."

"Too little time. You're going to die in what... 75 years?"

He shrugs, and plucks a blade of grass.

"Couldn't do it."

"If that." He shrugs.

"Likely much sooner. I see your point." He grins despite the talk of early death.

"Don't worry about the future."

He shrugs.

"We know how the universe ends, after all. And it's not so bad. Just ignore it."

"I don't worry. If I dwelt on what ifs, I would never have made it this far."

He chuckles quietly.

"Smart."

He shrugs.

"I should go in about fifteen minutes- I've someone waiting for me. Anything in particular you want to learn? Or just talk?"

"Nothing in particular. I am lazy remember."

And with that, he sits as well, then leans back against a tree and stares at the sky.

"You need not feel obligated to stay, if you wish to run along now..." There is nothing implied by the suggestion. It is sincere.

"No."

He sighs.

"My rooms are lonely. I'm not going till I'm sure of company. And we aren't to meet for another twenty minutes. I was planning on staying out here till then."

"Very well. As much as I tend to begrudge people disturbing me, I think i can abide it, just this once." He grins.

"Appreciated."

He snorts.

"And good luck with that. Milliways thrives on disturbance."

"This I have come to learn. Milliways itself was a disturbance, though one that may have saved my life. I find it hard, not to be grateful." *Smirk*

"Oh, I'll bet."

A slight smirk.

"A brave new world with such people in it. Met anyone interesting so far?"

"Of course. Though not intentionally."

He does not offer specifics.

"Anyone I know? Other than Gorlim, obviously?"

A slight grin.

"Whom, you'll be interested to know, is much better."
