And so. There's a very well dressed gentleman standing by the door to Milliways - naturally enough, he has a rather surprised expression on his face.
He's not wearing a tuxedo and there are no gorgeous women draping themselves over him. No vodka martini or Walther PPK in his hand either - in fact, he thinks he was about to get fired. So maybe he's a bit relieved to find himself here. He just wishes he knew where 'here' is.
James Bond is in the bar.

'Cos mun has to do the name thing once tonight...
He smiles at the man. 'My name's Bond. James Bond. And yes, I just got here - but the door seems to have disappeared and there's no one behind the bar to ask how I get out again. I'm late for a meeting with my boss. Don't know how I got here in the first place.'

"I think you're bound," he states simply.

'Bound?' He eyes Locke with resignation. 'That sounds unpleasantly confining. You mean I can't leave?'

And behold! A nice, shiny key appears on the bar surface.

'That's interesting. The bar's a clever thing, I see.' He picks it up and slides it into his pocket. 'And does one order drinks the same way? Let me get you one.'

That's strange. He sounds like a regular American. He doesn't pry though because he's a firm believer in a man's business being his own. Locke would have said something different if he wanted him to know.
'And you come and go as you please? Sounds like you have a good thing going - the choice between an island and a magical bar.' He tips his glass in a small salute. 'Sounds good.'

just like his canon!."Yes. This particular island isn't ordinary. We crashed there--me and about 40 other survivors. I believe we crashed there for a purpose. To learn."

Bond's mun must be the only person in the world not to have seen Lost yet *sigh*'Oh, I see.' He's not the most existential man there is but allows that other people may be. 'I suppose surviving a crash would be quite a learning experience in itself. And you find you gain more from being there than here?'

He's evasive like that.

He is tired though and needs to sleep. So he finishes his drink and turns to the quiet older man. 'I want to thank you for your assistance Mr. Locke. I must go but I hope we get the chance to speak again.'

'I'll be sure to say hello next time you're around. Good evening to you.' He inclines his head slightly, then moves to the stairs to find his room.
