Anoia stepped through the door, blinked twice and sighed, "Oh dear." Clearly she hadn't meant to end up here again. But she was going to make the most of it. She was wearing this apron today, though looking a little bewildered.

She fished around in a pocket, coming up with a small corkscrew, she began gnawing at it almost nervously as she scanned the bar, wondering once again if she'd been summoned by an errant wizard who wanted to enlist her services. For what she couldn't imagine, she was just the Goddess of Things That Stick in Drawers, what use could she be to an errant wizard?

Abs is at the bar, waiting for his hair to dry after his little dip in the lake.
He then sees a woman eat a corkscrew.

"That really doesn't look digestable."

Anoia blinked up at the voice, then she smiled, pocketing the rest of the corkscrew for later, handing him a rubber spatula, "Oh don't worry about it. They're quite tasty really." A grin then, somehow seeming sharklike while still having human-shaped teeth.

"Erm... okay. Am I supposed to eat this?"

She blinked twice, then laughed aloud, shaking her head, "Oh no, it's a gift. It's for cooking with really, but you can put it in a drawer." A pause then, clearly he didn't know who she was, and introductions were in order, "I am Anoia, Goddess of Things That Stick in Drawers."

"Oh, right. Thanks. Abs Denham, nice to meet you."

He holds out his hand.

Another grin as she shook his hand warmly before retreiving the rest of her corkscrew and nibbling at it, "So... err... where is this place exactly? I've never seen anywhere on the Disc like it before."

"What's the Disc?"

Abs shrugs. "I'm pretty new to this place myself. All I know is that it's called Milliways, and it's a bar at the end of the universe. People come here from lots of different worlds and sometimes get stuck, and time passes at a different speed. And it lives in my mate's bathroom sometimes. That's all I know."

She blinked, and again, still chewing almost delicately at the corkscrew, "So... I wasn't summoned by an errant Wizard? Demons and Gods have to worry about that sort of thing." A pause, "Well, the minor gods do anyway."

"If you're a god, how come you were summoned? I thought you could do anything."

He shrugs. "Not that I've met any apart from you. This is certainly a new experience."

Another laugh, "Well, I'm just a minor Goddess. I'm not really much use to any errant wizards, unless they're trying to smite their enemies by sticking all their drawers on spatulas." A shrug, "But I suppose I just need more belief."

Whether she herself needed to believe more, or whether she needed people to believe in her was up for debate really. Probably it was a little of both though.

"Well everyone's drawer does stick on spatulas from time to time. Maybe you should leave a calling card."

She smiled brightly then, "But, that is my calling card." A shrug, "The rattling and swearing comes straight to me, best praise there is!"

"Yeah, but people don't know it's you if they don't believe in you, and vice versa. You need to advertise."

He smiles and finishes his pint.

"I have to go. I'm on an early shift tomorrow. Nice talking to you."
