There is a Cuthbert, sitting at the bar with dinner.

There is also a newly acquired leatherbound notebook in which things--mostly lists, from the look of it--are being written and occasionally scribbled out. Mostly in the High Speech, though he's also taking the opportunity for more practice writing English.

Lilly overhears this, wanders over to see Meg, Anthy, Kaylee, random girl, and... Koosh?

Oh, this will be good.

"What up, sais? Are we turning Koosh colors or something?"

"He needs ruffles. For what he's wearin' when he and Susan get married." Solemn.

'course, we could do his nails to match, too, *Meg adds, cheerfully.*

Lilly starts to smile.

"Of course he does. Lots of them. We can even put some ruffles on his hat... bonnet. Ruffly wedding bonnet."

"I don't know if that works towards the goal of maximizing his torso ..." Ami says thoughtfully, putting a finger to her chin.

Anthy's eyes are shining.

"And a veil?"

A sparkly veil! *Meg reiterates happily.*

"A very sparkly veil!"

Lilly beams.

"A sparkly veil that glows in the dark! I'm seeing neon pink, orange, yellow, very retro-80's feel. Oooh, we can spray him with Aquanet!"

"With what?"

Cuthbert looks dubious. "Don't you girls think sparkles and ruffles might be going overboard?"

Ami eyes him worriedly. "He may have a point ..."

But this is his wedding! *Meg protests, horrified.* He'll have to remember it forever! There is no such thing as too much!

- he's just lucky we're not talking corsets.

Anthy glows with joy.

"Now we are."

Cuthbert is mournful. "There you go again, implying I don't have a good enough figure on my own."

Can I put my hands around your waist? Can Susan put her hands around your waist? No? Then your figure isn't good enough.

*Meg is firm.*

Besides, then Susan gets the fun of unlacing you!

Cuthbert eyes her. "No, you can't, because I eat."

Oooh, burn.

"I eat," Anthy points out.

She's also animated by people who never quite got over the joy of stick figures, but Cuthbert doesn't know that.

"Hell no!"

Cuthbert looks concerned. "But what if they clash with my gunbelts?"

"We dress up the gunbelts."

Duh.

"Lace," Lilly says firmly. "And lots of it. People will wonder if they're gunbelts or garterbelts by the time we're through."

They could in fact double as both!
