OOM: Pre-Milliways
Todd stumbled in, and nearly dropped his books in shock. Since when was his dorm room a bar? This made no sense, they didn't allow liquor at Welton. He turned around, wondering where he was.
A place to truly live deep and suck all the marrow out of life.
Milliways.
He then spied a familiar face, also looking confused.

He blinked, and finally stammered, "Aren't you dead?" Was this the afterlife? He didn't remember dying. Hey, wait, if it is, maybe Neil's around?
Be careful with the poor boy, he's been in for some bad shocks in his life recently.

"Uh, some Scotch, I guess?" Anything non-alcoholic wasn't going to cut it the way he was feeling. Even though he didn't really like to drink.

(Ooc--Just in case you don't know--No door means that Todd is bound to the Bar and can't leave, though a door that he sees could open to his world, ot just to blackness, another sign of being bound.)

Todd turned around, and blinked. He looked around, staring, "Uh. No? Should it be there?" Maybe it was somewhere else, though he thought he came that way.

Helen nods, knowingly. "Alright. Todd, that means you are bound to the bar. You can't leave, though you may become unbound at some point. This means that you need a place to stay. I can get you a room if you want. The bar will provide clothes for you." She takes a deep breath. "The bar," she taps the actual piece of furniture, "is sentient. If you ask her for something, she'll give it to you. Anything."

The rest catches up with him, "wait, I'm what? I can't leave?" He started to get upset at that, but then stopped. What was the point? His parents barely knew him, Mr. Keating's fired, Neil's dead. There's nothing there for him.
He straightened a little, and said respectfully, "A room, that would be good. Thank you, ma'am."
