[OOM: Pre-Milliways: Salazar Slytherin prepares for a trip to meet his beloved Madaeze. He doesn't quite make it that far.]

Salazar Slytherin enters what he thinks is a tent in Diagon Alley. He, of course, is very wrong.

He groans heavily and turns back around to a blank wall. He isn't going home just yet.

His hands move over the wall as he murmurs some spells.

Blasted thing.

He closes his eyes and rubs his eyelids gently, his hissing low and guttural. Unless you can speak to snakes, chances are you won't understand him.

"BLASTED THING!"

Not too happy, that Salazar Slytherin.

More staring. And more speech that Sheppard won't understand.

The speech makes Sheppard raise an eyebrow again. "So is that an 'I'm thinking' sound, or do you just do that out of boredom?"

"Boredom mostly. It can also be construed as my 'I am superior' sound."

Sheppard just rolls his eyes. He seems to have a talent for attracting the type. And for making them get pissed at him. "Uh huh."

"So. You are obviously not a magickal being. What are you exactly?"

Aw, Salazar wants to make Sheppard into his toy.

Alas, Shep is too ~~dumb~~flippant to run.

"...Uh, a human. Homo sapiens? Tau'ri?"

Which is why we love him. Oh, yes, we do love him.

"Tau'ri, I have never heard of. A mere human though? How sad for you."

"Tau'ri's another term for human. The Goa'uld came up with it." He raises an eyebrow, smirking a bit. "Well, I have the Ancient gene, which is a plus..."

Salazar nods, a tad humored by this fellow.

"What year are you from, anyway?"

"I am from the late part of the century."

"Which would be...? People come from a lot of different centuries around here."

"The first."

"...The first? Yeah, we've got kind of a big gap in what year we're from, then."

"I had noticed the rather odd speech of yours. A cousin of mine had a vision of a man with your speech. It's.. simplistic."

He just shrugs. "It's how a lot of people talk, where I'm from."

"Yes." Salazar sees something sticking out of the wall and goes to feel it.

A knob.

And with a last rude glance at Sheppard, he walks out the door.

Sheppard just raises an eyebrow again as Salazar leaves, shaking his head and taking a drink. "Weird."
