David is standing at the front, watching the guests arrive and talking to a few of them. He's nervous, yes, but he's very good at hiding it.

He looks up at the cloudless sky and smiles. It's a beautiful day for a wedding.

Jack takes his place a few steps away from Palmer, looking out at the crowd. He's smiling like he hasn't smiled in weeks. Nothing is going to spoil this day.

To the other side of the master of ceremonies, Bonnie took her place. It was a good day, and she was looking forward to it even if she didn't know a lot of the attendees.

Tony is standing near Jack, his face rather expressionless.

He glances out to the crowd. He's not scowling at everyone, honest. He's just a little nervous.

Meeting Tony's eyes, Gil gives him a reassuring wink.

Michelle walks in and stands next to Bonnie.

She gives Tony a reassuring smile. She's nervous but tries to hide it, they're in front of their friends, they're already married in America but this feels...different.

She looks at the crowd and then back at Tony, 'I love you,' she mouths.

David takes a small breath before speaking.

"Dearly Beloved - friends - we are gathered here to join this man and this woman in marriage. Today is about the union of two people, two lives. Two paths becoming one. Through marriage, Michelle and Tony will share each other's joy, bear each other's disappointments and help and comfort each other for the rest of their days.

This is not a commitment to be entered lightly, it asks a lot of both partners. It asks that they have the patience to support each other through difficult times and the trust to depend on each other and be open to one another during those dark days. It means tying your life to another person's and putting their needs, their happiness above your own. This is sacrifice both Tony and Michelle know and have already made to each other.

Today, is more about renewing those vows in front of their loved ones and each other."

He then smiles at the couple at the couple and gives Tony a slight nod.

Tony turns and takes Michelle's hands in his.

"Michelle, finding you again has truly been a blessing," he begins. "You've kept me sane through my darkest moments, when I thought I would never recover. You have been my stregnth and inspiration."

He pauses, and holds her hands a little tighter. Each word is pronounced clearly. He wants Michelle to be absolutely certain that he truly, deeply means to say all of them. "I promise I will never abandon you, ignore you, or push you away. I will honor your intentions and tell you the truth, no matter how bad I think the truth might be. And I promise to be fully yours, to never give in to selfishness or addictions, and to be your partner in all things from this day onward, till death do us part."

Michelle squeezes his hands gently and looks up at him.

"Tony, when I saw you here, I knew I was getting a second chance. Our lives have never been easy but without you by my side I'm not really living."

Her voice is deceptively strong and she blinks to clear her vision. "I promise to never leave you, to understand your faults as you understand mine, and to support you in all things. I don't know what the future will bring, but whatever happens, I am yours. And you are mine. Forever and ever," she pauses for a moment, "even after death."

David looks at Jack and Bonnie.

"Do you have the rings?"

Jack pulls Michelle's ring out of his pocket, having checked every five minutes that morning to make sure it was still there.

He passes it to Tony, still smiling.

There was no such thing as a pocket in Bonnie's dress. The ring she'd been holding was warm from her hand when she offered it to Michelle.

David looks out to the small crowd. "These rings symbolize the vows Tony and Michelle have taken and their commitment to each other."

Tony has not let go of her hand since the vows. He lets one of her hands go to take the ring from Jack, then slides the ring back onto her left ring finger. It was there yesterday, as it's been for weeks, and he hopes it will stay there forever.

"Michelle, with this ring I thee wed."

Michelle glances at the ring on her finger, it belongs there and even though she knew she had to have it off for the ceremony, she's glad that it's back.

She takes Tony's ring from Bonnie and slides it back onto his left ring finger.

"Tony, with this ring I thee wed."

"With these rings and these vows, Tony and Michelle have promised to love, honor and cherish each other as husband and wife for as long as they both ... exist."

David's smile widens with this and his voice is clear as he says the rest. "I now pronounce them husband and wife. You may kiss your bride."

Tony doesn't want to listen to the boring parts. He wants to get to the kissing.

He's kind enough to wait until after David says "You may kiss the bride" to actually do so.

Nita's grinning so much her face is going to hurt later.

Bonnie applauded, grinning widely from where she stood. Who cared if it wasn't 'couth' for the wedding party to applaud? They deserved it.

Jack applauds heartily, along with the audience. Now it seems complete, that his best friends are really back together again, and he's never been happier for them.

Clarice finds herself grinning, though she doesn't applaud. It doesn't seem like the thing to do-- at least not for her.

Peter quietly watched the ceremony, a wistful expression on his face. Thinking of Dana, and when they would be doing vows much like these. He used to be scared by the very concept, thinking it would limit his options. Sure he gets the urge to flirt at times with a pretty face, but his heart just wasn't in it anymore.

He did make one mental note: Once married, never call Dana,
'the ol' ball and chain' *again*. *Ever.*

He applauded as loud as anyone else as Tony and Michelle finally kissed as they were wed.

Chris claps. There are tears in her eyes, (she's such a sap) but she's also beaming.

Tony and Michelle had something rare and they deserved all the happiness in the world.

Elaine claps until her hands hurt, and laughs and there might be tears on her cheeks, but they're happy tears and not an ounce of sadness anywhere.

That's rare for Elaine, though less so lately.

This is a wonderful, wonderful day and she hopes they'll be happy for a long, long time.

Chloe never knows what to do at these things, so she claps when everyone else does and stands when everyone else does.

Malcolm couldn't be happier for the couple--and for Jack, who's needed a happy moment for a long time, even though Malcolm can see the poor guy sweating even from way back here.

At the kiss, Malcolm's memory flashes back to Anna once more, and then, just for a moment, marvels that even here, at the end of the universe, there's no stopping love.
