Owen Davies heard the harpsong in the upstairs hallway and asked politely if he could come along with Bran.

Therefore, both Bran Davies and Owen Davies are walking through the doorway to Milliways now.

[In which Owen Davies demonstrates the presence of a backbone! Accompanied by Bran, Owen listens to Dream of the Endless compliment his son, speaks politely to Mordred and invites Mordred to visit. Owen and Bran talk to Blodwen Rowlands and escape unscathed. Score: Davies 6, Blodwen 3. Also, Bran meets Liz Imbrie [slowtimed].)

She smiles Bran, and then turns to Owen, still smiling. "I do enjoy the making, and there are several here who might be glad of such gifts, I think."

"Goodness no," she laughs, although she cannot completely hide the sudden coolness in her glance. "I know my limits, dear."

Owen stands as well. He saw the change in Blodwen Rowlands' face, so he does not sound at all apologetic when he says, "We have work to do at home."

"Take care, Blodwen." Owen's tone of voice suggests several possible meanings for the phrase.

"Good evening, the two of you," she says amenably enough, but Blodwen Rowlands has not missed the point, oh no.
