Inyri Forge is in the bar.

She has a datapad in front of her, and she's playing a game. A very old game, with X-Wings and TIE fighters and random meteors. It's very boring.

But it's better than nothing.

*Something soft wraps around her ankle and purrs.*

Inyri glances down and smiles. "Hi there."

*He purrs and looks up at her with unnaturally bright green eyes. Isn't he adorable?*

Very adorable. Too bad Inyri's getting a dog and not a cat.

But she picks him up with a small smile and sets him on the bar next to her drink. She pets him. Peeet.

*Puuuuurrr.*

*The cat does that legs-stuck-straight-out thing that cats do when they're picked up, then settles comfortably on the bar. It leans into her hand, warm and soft and smooth, purring madly.*

Inyri smiles. And pets kitty. Kitty makes her smile, which is a good thing!

Kitty purrs and somehow finds its way onto her lap, where it curls up comfortably to enjoy the petting.*

Inyri smiles again, and pets the kitty from head to tail.

*The delicious barkarch that follows her hand down his spine is accompanied by a loud purr.*

*A purr is the sound of pure contentment.*

"Well at least I can make someone happy." Inyri says softly.

*The kitty bats a velvety paw at a lock of her hair, playfully.*

Inyri smiles again, although it's a little shaky. "Silly kitty."

*Wait, what's that?*

*The kitty perks both ears at the datapad.*

Inyri picks it up and waves it in front of the cat. "It's a datapad. See?"

Watch the X-wing fly!

*The cat watches the thing on the screem move, leaning up to rest its forepaws on the bar.*

*It bats a paw at it, curiously.*

"You can't catch it, I'm afraid." Inyri giggles.

*The cat looks up at her, mournfully, and miaows.*

"Well if it's any consolation, I wasn't doing a very good job myself."

*Mollified, he settles down again on her lap, curling slightly into a crescent of pure white fur.*

Inyri smiles again, and exits the game, idly petting the cat still.

*The kitty in her lap purrs lazily.*

Inyri glances around the bar, then re-situates herself, moving the cat slightly. "Tired?"

*It rests its chin on her arm and yawns. Sharp little teeth. Tired kitty.*

Inyri pets the kitty still. She's getting tired too. Yawn.

*A purr is a good sound to fall asleep to. It's warm and comforting, and a blanket-like sound.*

*Bright green eyes drift shut.*

Inyri props one arm on the bar and leans against it, closing her eyes.

Aw. The dozing pair.

*It's a Kodak moment.*

*Click.*

"Good even, Inyri."

"Magius. Hello."

"How does the evening find thee? I have been up in my room studying a lot and didnt see you around. How have things been?"

"They've been alright." Inyri says. "Better than sometimes."

"Good. what have you been doing? I keep getting buried in books, but I managed to get out today."
