Amanda enters the bar glowing. She is wearing a casual dress and boots (see icon) with a long jacket. She walks up to the bar and orders a light meal. She sits down and begins to eat and drink for she had brought the merry.

She looks like she is waiting for something but she wouldn't mind some company while she waits.

"Ah. I think I might have talked business a bit too much. For which I apologize. One should not spend all his time in the company of a beautiful woman speaking of his career." He lowers his head as if bowing it to seek some small forgiveness.

She finishes peeling the orange, puts down the knife, seperates a piece, and hands it to him, "Try this"

He looks at it.

"This one, I've tried. Fruit names is apparently also its color. They make juice from it, as well, I recall." He eats it.

"Hmmm. A sweeter one that that the last I tried, but still edible."

She smiles and then eats a piece herself, "How are things going in the Alliance?"

"Much the same. Constant meetings for just about everyone about strategies, economics, supplies. In a way, being asked to help Intelligence was a lucky stroke. The work is not easy - it can be dull, in fact - but it gives me an excuse to pick and choose my meetings.

"And we think we are really making headway at finding the weak points within the surviving Imperial structure." He takes a strawberry.

"I've also found some new friends to beat at the sabacc table.

"And you, Amanda? Have you been home again, or are you still soundng out the Bar?"

"As a matter of fact I was home last night, A friend of mine is flying in to help me run things while I spend time here. Though I am still trying to adjust to the changing time differneces. The club is going alright but my partner is closing down his European operations since the person who was running it for him" there is a pause and Amanda's pain is very evident "left. So I am working on buying him out."

"You mean the private investigator? That's a bit of a shame." He teads carefully, not knowing what exactly happened, but getting the idea it was not good.

"I assume that you have the funds to do this?"

She perks up, at least on the outside. "Yes, and it will be nice to get back to business as usual"

"Truest words are rarely spoken.

"Though I think you've found that 'as usual' never works quite that way.

"Tell me. What kind of clientele does your place get? It is like here, or it is more interesting?" He gives small smirk, accepting that her mood has adjusted.

"Nothing nearly as interesting as here. The people that visit my place do vary in age. Mostly young people come to meet, dance, and drink. They dress up in nice clothes, the women tend to wear as little as possible. I think you might enjoy it. Perhaps you could join me some night for a short visit?"

"It does sound like my kind of place," he says with a somewhat wicked smile. "We should arrange it.

"Would I fit in, in my usual clothes? They are the latest style, of course, but I haven't a clue what Earthers where to Earther establishments." Lando is naturally wearing that dashing short blue cape.

"No I would have to get you something more appropriate for the occasion." Her mind starts going through her wardrobe trying to think about what she would wear and then trying to figure out what to put him in. "I think perhaps a white silk shirt with navy blue slacks, or perhaps an all black emsamble, defintely should put you in a silk shirt" speaking more to herslef than him. Looking up, "When you try on the silk shirt you will think you have died and gone to heaven"

Lando, ever the clotheshorse, grin with a bit of anticipation, "That sounds very, very inviting, Amanda. I haven't seen anything made of silk in some time. It's fairly rare for us, even in the best of times.

"An all-black ensemble sounds like it might do. I wear blue all the time and a change might be nice."

Her mind still mixing and matching. Really it has alot to do with what she wears. If she wears a red dress then black will work but if she wears a black dress she will probably but him in a colored shirt and dark pants. "I will have to get your measurements, including your shoe size, hope you are ready for highly impractical shoes."

Lando frowns. "Impractical shoes? What kind of world are you from?" And then he smiles. "I was hoping you would teach me an Earth dance or two, but if I have to wear impractical shoes, we might have to leave that out.

"I would tell you my measurements, but I don't think they will translate to Earth sizes. So we will need to try more direct methods, I think."

"I'll see what I can find for shoes, perhaps I can find some practical but stylish shoes. What is the dancing like on your world?"

"We'll see about your measurement later."

"Perhaps I can bring something that I think is your size and take it from there"

"Hmm. That might work." it wouldn't be as much funas having her tkae his measurements, but no need to rush things with so obvious a way of rushing things.

"Dancing...I have seen much that would fit under that simple word. Everything from rather tawdry dances to entertain Jabba the Hutt, to competitive gymanstics to ancient music. Slow dances, wild dances, dances on anti-grav platters. Each interesting to see at least once, though few easy for the beginniner."

"The dancing at my club is pretty easy to learn, though there are many forms of dance and music many of which are rather difficult."

"Then we will start with the easy things, and work out form there, Amanda.

"And I have to say, if everything were easy, where would the challenge be?" He gives her that sparkling grin again.

"So very true" she gives him a down right wicked grin.

"Then it's settled. You will take me to visit Earth, and I will learn something new. All we need is the exact time, and the clothes. But that should be easy enough."

The screen fades to black as they try to coordinate their schedules.
