Jaina and Zekk are sitting at their booth, a duffel bag on the ground in front of them. It's rather empty considering the fact that they're planning to return to Ossus as soon as they finish their meal, and aren't sure when they'll be back. Looks like Mara managed to get through to the Jedi.

Fiddling with a comlink in her hands, Jaina slowly picks at her nerf steak while Zekk devours his. She's feeling reluctant about leaving, but she's finally realized she can't hide here forever.

And honestly, neither of them want to.

Anyone want to say goodbye to the Joiner Jedi?

"Doesn't matter. At the end, you'll have found something." Sam pats Zekk on the shoulder. "I hope it's good."

Jaina and Zekk nod. "Thanks," they say at the same time.

Jaina stands from the table, pulling the duffel bag towards her. "Suppose we better get going."

"Can I hug you?" Sam asks, biting her lip. She's going to miss Jaina. She's her best friend after all. She whirls on Zekk. "Both?"

Zekk blinks, looking confused for a moment before pulling Sam into a tight hug. "Thanks for being our friend."

Jaina stands there, watching them. "We'll be seeing you again sooner than you expect."

Sam clings to Zekk for a moment, before letting go and hugging Jaina. "Thank you. Both. I'd be lost and lonely without you two. And you better be home soon."

She steps back and wipes the tears off her cheeks. "Because we're family here. This is home. Just...keep yourselves safe."

As safe as either of them are capable of keeping themselves, anyway. Jaina nods knowingly, picking up her comlink from the table and putting it into her pocket, patting it gently. "We know. Force be with you, Sam."

Zekk nods in agreement and then takes Jaina's hand, leading her out the door. He opens it, and if Sam looks closely, she can see a common room in the Jedi academy on Ossus.

One more wave from both of them in her direction, and the Joiners are out of the bar.
