And look. Biggs is at the bar, drinking a lum. He might be looking for a certain pilot, he might just be loungeing. The world will never know.

"There's something familiar about you." Who said that Biggs doesn't just cut to the chase. "Where're you from, kid?"

"I could say the same." But you're supposed to be dead. Just like Lujayne was supposed to be dead? A small voice asks in his head.

"Coruscant." It's been his home for the past couple of years.

Hm. "Well, you're from my galaxy at any rate. Still can't figure out why you look vaguely familiar, though. You a pilot of some sort?"

He nods. "In Rogue Squadron, actually. You?"

"Rogue... That's the one the Reds turned into, right? I guess you could say that I'm your predecessor." He laughs a bit. "I got vaped in what I have been told was the Battle of Yavin."

"I had a cousin at the Battle of Yavin," Gavin says slowly, regarding Biggs suspiciously. "He died there."

Biggs blinks. "Oh? That kinda sucks. What was his name?" Right, Biggs. Come on. Figure it out.

"Um," Gavin hesitates. This man really does look like how he remembers Biggs looking. "It was Biggs. Biggs Darklighter."

It's really a good thing that Biggs wasn't drinking. He stares blankly at Gavin, and then it all fits. Holy mother of a Bantha. Gavvie. All grown up. And a pilot. He grins. "Gavin?" He blinks and stares. He can't even get words out.

"It is you," Gavin says softly, staring again. "Yeah, um, I guess you remember me, huh?"

"How could I forget you, little annoying cousin?" He smiles a bit. "I know I acted like you didn't exist a lot, but I still do care." Besides, Gavin's family. He half-smiles again.

"Hey! I wasn't annoying!" Gavin's stare turns into more of a smile, and he moves to give Bigg's a hug, hesitating last moment.

Biggs laughs heartily, and pulls Gavin into a hug. "That's what they all say, kid." A huge grin. "Good to see that you turned out alright after all."

He returns the hug, patting Biggs' back. "It's great to see you again, cousin. Been a long time."

He chuckles, pulling back to look at Gavin. "Handsome devil, you. So, how long has it been for you?" he doesn't note that it's only been a couple months for him. Probably not the best thing to bring up.

"How long since what? Since I've been here? Emperor's black bones, I can't remember. I was supposed to meet Corran - he's a friend of mine on the squadron - but then I wound up here, instead."

Biggs takes a good-natured swat at Gavin's head. "No, dork, I mean how long since I got vaped. What I'm trying to ask is how old you are." He facepalms. "I guess you don't get any sharper with age."

"Hey! You could've phrased that question better," Gavin protests, ducking the swat. "Um, years. I'm nineteen now, Biggs."

Biggs chuckles, then looks a bit pensive. "You're gettin' old there, cousin." He shakes his head. "It's so strange to talk to people from a world that went on." Not that the world won't have gone on, but the point stands.

"Yeah, I can't imagine being in that position. When'd you get here, Biggs?"
