And look. Biggs is at the bar, drinking a lum. He might be looking for a certain pilot, he might just be loungeing. The world will never know.

Lujayne ducks her head and blushes. "Yeah, it really was."

He kisses the top of her head. "Good." He holds her close. "I'm kinda shocked, really, that I found someone so lovely."

"Me too." Lujayne rests her head on his shoulder. "It's sad we had to die to find it."

"I know, but that means we won't have to ever lose each other." He kisses her gently. "I don't think either of us are going anywhere anytime soon."

"I know I'm not." Lujayne looks back up at him, kissing him again.

He holds her close for a long moment without saying anything. "I think I need to find some job around here. Then again, what does a dead pilot do?" He ponders for a moment. "Need to take care of my girl."

"'Nyri says some people bartend or wait tables..." Lujayne says softly, blushing at him again.

She blushes a lot around him.

"I'll see what I can dig up." He smiles back at her. "I promised I'd protect you, remember? That includes making sure you have what you need." Leaning down, he kisses her cheek.

"I have all I need. My sister's okay...mostly, and I have you." She grins back up at him, hugging him close and burying her face in his neck.

"Well, if it ever comes up that there's anything else you need, I'll get it for you." And for now, he'll take her tab. Not that he has anything to pay it with, mind. "And perhaps I'll find little things that you'd like." He's grinning. Watch out, Lujayne. You might be spoiled.

"Thank you." Lujayne mumbles into his neck, on her tiptoes! She's short!

Yay for spoiling.

He picks her up with the easy grace of a pilot, and puts her in his lap. Yes, right there on the stool. What' It can be done. "No need to thank me, lovely. Just be you."

Lujayne wraps her arms around his neck, and kisses his lips, giggling at the brush of his moustache. "Love you."

He grins at her, and kisses her back rather thouroughly. "Love you too, my dear one." He pauses, then pulls back to look at her. He's pondering saying something, but for some reason, he's holding back.

"What? Do I have something on my face?" Lujayne giggles.

He puts a hand on her cheek, and just smiles at her. "Nope. I was just thinking that really we probably don't need two rooms anymore."

Lujayne bites her lip and smiles slowly. "Are you asking me to move in with you?"

He looks deeply into her eyes, a serious look on his face. "Only if you want to. I'm not forcing you to do anything."

"You're not forcing me into anything." Lujayne smiles, leaning forward to kiss him. "I love you."

He kisses her back for a long moment, then pulls back to look at her. "I love you too. And that's why I want to be with you."

"I'd love to move in with you." Lujayne says, belatedly. She just wants to be with him too.

Better late than never, really. He just grins at her and kisses her gently, wordlessly. Nothing really needs to be said.

Lujayne holds onto him and kisses him back.

He picks her up, and starts to carry her to the stairs. "I think we should go figure out which room we like better."

Lujayne squeals and clings to him. "I agree."
