To her surprise, the door was unlocked. Still is.

She'll be leaving tomorrow -- come talk to her before she does.

She inclines her head. "Thank you."

Switching back to English, she smiles ruefully. "It's going to weird to go back to work."

'It often is, after a hiatus.' Merriman picks up his refilled glass of port. 'Rather like facing a Monday morning on a far grander scale.'

He tilts his head to one side, looking pensive for a moment. 'Do you expect difficulties, upon your return?'

She frowns a little. "I'm hoping not."

He studies his glass, swirling it gently. 'Merely a question. As unpredictable as things may be here, they seem to be even more unpredictable out there.'

He takes a small sip of his port. 'I will not keep you, for I am certain you have other preparations to make. But do take care, and I hope that you will return here if the opportunity presents itself, Miss Callahan.'

She nods, and her expression lightens a little. "Of course I will." She grins a little. "Everyone needs someplace to relax."
