*The door opens and a sick looking girl stumbles in. She isn't thrilled by this. she took the day off at work and was all decked out in robe and fuzzy slippers. She was gonna spend the day locked in her room with a stack of records, her iPod and Rolling Stone... Instead she opened the door to her bedroom and found herself here. Penny is curled up in a booth with her iPod. She could use some company.*

A strange woman walks over to her, "You look aweful, come have a seat." Amanda starts to guide her over to a booth, motioning over to a wait-rat.

*Penny does as she is told, she is in not position to argue, she feels too yucky*

When the wait-rat arrives Amanda orders some chicken noodle soup, Orange juice, and some blanckets.

she gives a smile
"My name is Amanda"

Thank you.

*Penny grins a very tiny grin*

I'm Penny.

"Pleasure to meet you."

The wait-rat arrives. First Amanda gives Penny the blankets to cover herself and then places the soup and OJ in front of her.
"Do you have a room here?, you really should be in bed."

Yeah, I have a room here, but I am not supposed to be here in the first place, I am supposed to be in bed at home.

*she frowns*

Amanda still doesn't understand the Bar and her reasons for summoning people or why she doesn't let them leave and probably never will.

"Where is home?"

Home is San Diego California, 1974. What about you?

"Paris, Fracnce, 2005"

"What do you do there?"

I have a job at a record store and I have night classes three times a week. I sepnd about half my time here.

*she eats at her soup*

"What are you studying?"

Amanda is happy she is eating.

I'm taking high school proficiency classes.

*she takes a sip of juice*

"Thats good, what do you want to do when you grow up?"

I have no clue. I dropped out of school back when I was a Junior, so I could go on a European tour with a band that I followed and then I just never felt the need to go back. Till a few months ago.

"What happened a few months ago?"

I broke up with my fiance.

"Do you enjoy working at the record store?"

Yes, I do, very much.

"What's your favorite type of music?"

Rock and Roll, but I'll listen to anything.

"Groovy. Whose your favorite artist?"

I don't really have a favorite. I like the Rolling Stones and the Beatles... and quit a few others.

"Me too. Music seems a constant throughout history"

"Don't forget to drink your Orange juice"

Yeah, life would be prety damned boring without music.

*she takes another sip of her orange juice.*

Amanda watches her drink the OJ, "So how long have you been coming here?"
