Sheppard is seated at a booth with a beer and the deck of cards the Bar gave him. He frowns at the cards he has set out in front of him, biting his lip a bit as he thinks. It seems that the game of solitare has got him stuck.

Who wants to offer ~~not so~~ helpful suggestions?

"Perhaps you would like to play something else?"

"hat might be a good idea. Looks like I got myself into a corner." Games imitate life for Sheppard, it seems. "Any suggestions?"

"Hmmm, Perhaps Gin Rummy." She prefers Poker but no chips.

"Never played that. I was teaching a friend how to play blackjack awhile back, though. He's pretty new at card games."

"Blackjack is fun, though I prefer poker"

"I've played some poker-not all that great at it, but I can win sometimes. But I haven't played in awhile."

"What do you know how to play?"

"Well...solitare, obviously. Blackjack. Poker. I used to know how to play thins game called presidents and assholes, but I've kinda forgotten how. Go fish, but that's getting pretty basic..."

"Then I would suggest blackjack."

"So what millitary are you with?"

"US Air Force." He glances at his shoulder patches. "I'm keeping it on so I don't have to get dressed really fast if the door suddenly shows up."

"What year?"

"2005. You?"

She smiles, "The same, where are you stationed"

He chuckles a bit. "...Ever hear of the Pegasus galaxy?"

"If we were any place else I might be suprised" as she begins to laugh.

"Yeah, you've got a point. Where're you from?"

"At the moment, Paris"

"Never been there. What's it like?"

"Pretty much like any major city, just filled with the French."

"Makes sense. Sounds better than Anarctica, anyway, which is where I used to be. Lived there long?"

"This time around I have been there a few months. How long have you been in the Pegasus galaxy?"

"Over a year now. It's been...interesting."

"Do tell." She inquires. SHe calls a wait-rat over "You want anything?"

"Well, between the man-eating aliens, the non-man eating but still hostile aliens, getting ships hot and stuck in the gates, and just general weird crap, it's been interesting." He shakes his head. "Nah, I'm fine."

Amanda orders another Dragon. "That sounds more interesting than here."
