Ray's awake, which is a start.
He's in the Bar, which is also a start.
However, by the look of him, he's having some difficulty with the concept of 'cocoa puffs are food'.
Possibly he could use some assistance?

He looks up a little more closely. "As my brain's still not quite working, refresh my memory. Should I recognize the niblet there?" He gestures to the baby.

before doom happens. Therefore, she is passing by Ray's table, still having not gotten around to getting a room for herself, and thus having slept in a chair.
"Hey, Cocoa Puffs! That's a great idea." she exclaims, in her sleepy-crackish state.

especially when everything's about to go doomy.Ray glances up. "That what they are? I don't remember ordering breakfast." This would, perhaps, explain why his coffee is yet untouched. Or perhaps it's the other way around. At any rate, he scratches vaguely at his face. "I don't think I know you. Do I know you, or do I just need to wake up more?"

"I'm Fred. I also forget to eat, occasionally."
no subject
He stops as the name gets through his skull.
"Fred," he says slowly. "For the love of Rassilon, please tell me that's not code for 'I'm actually Romana after her third regeneration'?"
no subject
Fred blinks at him.
"Um. It's just short for Winnifred, last time I checked?"

He rifles a pouch and pulls out a package with yellow things in it and puts it next to Ray's bowl.
"So are twinkies."

"... refresh my memory. How do I get those open again?"

"I don't think I have one of those."

"Put this on your finger. Be careful with it."
When Ray does so it will reveal a claw and grip his finger gently. The claw is dullish bu when drawn down against something will cut as a knife.

Brother, you ain't seen nothing yet.
He came downstairs for his morning coffee, carting a stack of books, and his notebooks.
"Uh, Ray? That's not all of your breakfast is it?"

Peter stared at that, "Uh, thanks, I think?" He made a couple of trips to place the food on the table, putting his books underneath to make space.
"Uh, if it's too much we can always split it, right? I think Bar went overtop, or she thinks you haven't eaten a real meal in a while."

He prods at the thing with a spoon and a look of morbid curiosity.
"Anyway. How're you- oooh, bacon!- doing this morning?"
no subject
He sighed, "Please tell me your bed looks slept in at least? We're not in college, you don't have to pull all-nighters anymore."
Off the grapefruit, he shrugged, "Yeah, some do. The red kind's not bad."
"Fine. Just been doing some heavy thinking, and realizing some things. Met Serena the other day, and first of all, wow, vampire and all, but whew! Though Dana doesn't have to kill me, just lookee, no touchie *at all.*" Even though she wasn't exactly helping matters with the free show.

"Do you know yet when we'll be going? Gil finds too many King Kong movies at once boring."
