Logan opens the door to the Casablancas house, looking for a bit of a romp. He'd planned his greeting to Kendall with care - something typically smartass and wry, but obnoxious enough to get that annoyed, eye-rolling look from her before she dropped whatever she was wearing on the floor.

So imagine his surprise when the door leads to Milliways instead of an illicit tryst with one hot stepmama.

Still, he's not displeased, exactly.

Hey Logan.
*Penny grins*

"Hey, cutie," he says, grinning at her. "Don't suppose you'd be interested in a romantic liaison? I was about to hit one up, and I just sort of...showed up here. Bummer, huh?"

Romantic liaison and you end up here? Damn. I doubt my boyfriend would approve.

*she grins*

Logan pretended to sigh. "Yeah," he said. "I figured. When was the last time you saw me? It's been three months for me, at home."

Last week? Yeah, that sounds right. Three months, that sounds about right.

*she grins*

How is home?

"Wow, really?" Logan asks, impressed. "That's wild."

"As well as can be expected," he says, shrugging. He doesn't really feel like getting into it right now.

*she nods*

Well, good.

"How's life treating you? Blissful happiness?" he asks lightly.

I'm sick.

*she shrugs*

"Sick with what?" Logan asks. Now that she mentioned it, she did look a bit under the weather...

I don't know, flu probably. I hope it's the flu.

"Yuck," Logan says, making a face. "You never can tell, in Milliways. Why aren't you in bed being fed chicken soup?"

Well, I got sick at home... The door to my bedtoom landed me here so I just stayed the night. I'm feeling better than I was yesterday.

"Glad to hear that," Logan says. "The bugs you pick up at Milliways are generally less fun than the flu."

He gave her a considering look. "You still look sorta peaky, though. Sure you shouldn't be in bed? I'd keep you company and everything."

Logan's kidding about the last part.

*Penny laughs*

I'm fine, it was boring up there. And it would be just as boring at home.

Logan laughs too. "I bet. That was always the worst part about being sick, and I'm awful. I want to be entertained all the time when I'm sick. Drove my mother crazy."

I am not surprised by that all. I'd rather have someone to talk to than be stuck in bed.

"What if someone kept you company while you rested?" Logan suggested. "Someone like me? I'll feed you soup, too, and we can watch TV and make fun of how dumb soap stars are."

Really? That would be great.

"Totally," Logan says. "Whenever you're ready, babe."

I probably should go ahead and go back upstairs. I'm getting kinda woozy.

I hate being sick.

"It sucks," Logan says, taking her arm and guiding her up the stairs. "No fun at all. We'll get some soup when you're safely horizontal and maybe a trashy magazine."

No, it's not fair.

*she pouts*

Ooh trashy magazine???

*she giggles*

"Totally," Logan says. "Even if you don't know who Angelina and Brad are, I promise you'll be riveted by their torrid affair and Jen's broken heart."

When you're sick, People is the best thing to read. Especially if you - and your parents - aren't in it.

*she nods*

I don't know who a lot of people are, but I am playing catch up.

"I bet you are," Logan says as they reach her door. "You lettin' me in, or what?"

I know of Brad Pitt, apparently he has a great butt and was in some movie I have to see...

No, we're just gonna stand out here and look pretty.

*she gets her key out of her purse and unlocks the door*

"Not that it'd be hard," Logan says smugly. "Thanks, though."

He runs downstairs for soup and People magazine, procuring both easily and returning in a flash.

*she giggles and goes about making herself comfortable on her bed. she has suddenly become cold*

Logan tucks her in and jumps on the bed next to her. "TV?" he asks.

Logan turns the TV on, tunes into General Hospital and settles back on the bed, handing over the soup and the magazine. "Good stuff," he says, and proceeds to update her on the world of the soap.
