"Chotto...chotto matte! Please....please slow down, Sesshoumaru-sama!" Squawks a sudden, frantic voice from somewhere at about knee-level of most bar patrons. "Your loyal...servant's....legs....are far inferior! Wait for me!"

A short, green creature with bulging yellow eyes and a beaklike mouth comes dashing into the room at full speed, the two-headed staff slung over its shoulder bouncing along with the panicked little demon. He has clearly been running for some time, panting heavily as he trips over a bar-patron's ill-placed foot. The newcomer takes a face first dive, arms flailing, then skids a few feet along the floor before coming to a full halt. The staff clunks heavily on the creature's head not a second later, causing a sizeable swelling to rise as the hapless imp heaves a pained groan. Yes, that'll hurt. Flopping over his side, still wheezing, he blinks groggily up at the myriad of eccentric lighting.

"Arrck, all fortune has abandoned me today." Jaken manages croakily.
