Adric was once again in the chair near he fire, with the nice fluffy blanket. No book of fairytales or pastel-colored cocoa today however.

At the moment he had a plate of nachos and a glass of some sort of brightly colored fruit juice. It even had a small paper umbrella in it, which he couldn't figure out the point of, but had decided to ignore for the time being.

Bright, always-curious eyes scanned the bar, watching patrons randomly. He might go and introduce himself when he was done eating.

Otherwise he's liable to share if anyone asks, he's like that.

A juggling ball rolls under Adric's chair.

He arched a brow slightly at this development, setting the plate down on the side table, licking the nacho cheese and chip crumbs off of one hand while twisting in his seat to scoop up the ball with the other, bouncing it lightly from the palm of his hand to the back of his fingers and back before looking over the bar to see if he could spot who had misplaced it.

Fairly nearby, Guppy is trying to retrieve another ball from the trilobite tank.
Julietta the curious squid doesn't want to give it back.

Well of course, it was hers now, he'd thrown it in there for her, hadn't he?

Adric smiled as he unfolded from his seat, heading over, "Think this might be yours." A pause, "I'm Adric by the way."

Guppy looks around and smiles.

"Oh, thanks. I'm Guppy, didn't we meet a little while ago? I think it was you that helped me fix a vase."

Adric blinked, he remembered the vase anyway, after all, he was generally more interested in puzzles than people, he smiled however, "Oh yes, of course. How've you been then? I take it you weren't murdered for breaking the vase."

Guppy smiles. "No, after I saw you Michael very kindly fused the molecules together so the gaps didn't show. It was quite funny when my housemate noticed a few weeks later that a crack that had been in it for years appeared to have healed."

He puts the balls in his pocket. "How are you?"

He laughed at that, "I can imagine that took some explaining." He shrugged, "I'm doing alright. Not sure I've quite adjusted to this many people coming and going just yet, but I will."

Guppy nods. "I was beginning to think I knew people who were around the bar at the same time as I am quite well, but there are many more now who I don't know well, at all even."

He nodded, smiling again, "I don't even know that many really." He admitted almost sheepishly as he tucked his hair behind his ears. "Met Ace first, she traveled with the Doctor after I died."

And it had been quite a relief really, that she had been the first one he met, because she was almost familiar.

"Have many people travelled with the doctor?" Guppy asks, whilst his mun tries to solve the case of the strangly missing shampoo.

He nodded, smiling crookedly again, "A fair few." He shrugged, "I was a stowaway really. At least at first." He answers, while his mun suggests checking the fridge. Never know what's going to turn up in there.

Mun has found it now. Strangely enough, it was in the shower. But thanks for the suggestion.
"Sounds like a dangerous job."

He laughed, nodding, "Sometimes, but..." He shrugged, "No one ever said time travel was a nice safe occupation."

"Did you enjoy it?"

Another laugh, fluffing a hand through his hair, though it didn't do much but cause it to fall in exactly the same place again, "I did. Even the times when we were this close" A miniscule measurement between thumb and forefinger, "To getting killed, sometimes those were the best even."

Guppy smiles. "Must have given you one heck of an adrenaline rush."

His smile was ear to ear, nodding, "Yeah." He shrugged, though the smile was still in place, "Best times of my life really."

"What else did you do? I can't imagine time travel was your first idea as a career."

He shrugged, "Back home we just repaired the starliner over and over and over, it was going to fly us home eventually, if we could make it work."

He shrugged, "Then the Doctor came along and I decided that time travel sounded like a better idea."

"A starliner? Is that like a cruise ship, only for space?"

"Um..." His brow furrowed, he hadn't any idea what a cruise ship was, "I suppose it might be."

"You're not from Earth? I though the Doctor was supposed to have a strong British accent?"

He smiled crookedly once more, "I'm from Alzarius. And the Doctor's from Gallifrey."

"Are they on Earth?" Guppy asks, wishing his geography was a little better.

Adric blinked, then shrugged, "I don't suppose so, since they're planets, but they always could be. These things work out that way sometimes."

Guppy nods, understanding.
"Yes, funny old thing the universe."

He glances at his watch.

"I have to get going. Nice to see you again."
