There are two Joiner Jedi sitting next to each other at a booth, one studying something in her datapad while the other slowly writes something on a piece of flimsi. A couple of mugs of hot chocolate sit nearby on the table.

There are also smiles on both their faces, although this time, it's for entirely different reasons.

There is a Jedi Master sitting nearby. Her Force aura is a buzzin'. She's oh so preoccupied.

Jaina and Zekk sense this, and tilt their heads, clicking in unison as they study Mara from their seat.

Neither can figure out why she'd be so preoccupied.

Zekk nods in Mara's direction, gesturing for her to join them.

Mara sighs, and stands, coming to sit with the other Jedi. "Hello."

Two smiles greet the elder Jedi. "Hey Aunt Mara."

"How have you been?"

Best to start to get straight to the heart of the matter.

"Pretty...good. Except for the part where I'm on Ossus alone because I started this whole kriffing war." Mara, bitter? hahaha.

Jaina and Zekk blink in unison, happy expressions fading fast. "War?"

"We thought that we had prevented that."

"Ah...kriff. Forget I said anything." Mara winces. Today isn't her day.

Or it is. Depending on how you look at it.

Want to ask, know they shouldn't. It's a hard decision to make, but in the end, Jaina and Zekk know they have to lead their lives in their way.

And not as a result of any future occurences they might have been clued in on.

Slowly, Jaina nods. "If you say so."

"We won't pressure you," Zekk adds, only a little reluctance seeping through.

"Good. Because I don't need to blamed for one more thing." Mara plays with the sleeve of her fuzzy jacket. "It's starting to be autumn on Ossus."

Ah yes, weather. The Failsafe.

"It's getting cold here, too."

She frowns. "Why would you be blamed for something else?"

"I'm sure you'll find out." Mara sighs. But obviously, the warthing isn't what's bothering her.

Prrrrryyyy it out of her!

"Or you could just tell us," Jaina counters.

"We've trusted you in the past," Zekk reasons. He takes a sip of his hot chocolate. "What-"

"-is it?"

"It's about the future, I'm not saying anything more." Mara glares.

"Then don't bring it up."

Zekk quirks an eyebrow. "What can you tell us?"

"I was trying to get away from that topic." Mara snaps back. "And I can tell you that...I'm going to be up for a long time tonight trying to remember the steps to the Alderaanian waltz.

Lie. She knows it like the back of her hand.

Mara's statement's met with two doubtful stairs. "The Alderaanian waltz?"

"You have a wedding to go to?"

"No. I'm teaching a friend to dance." And he's a vampire and he kissed her and she kissed his cheek and they flirted and wee.

If they could get all that in a Force-bond, they are super incredible Jedi.
