He's not really a morning person, despite being up at dawn every day. He believed, like his friend Silk, that the morning served only to make sure that the night and the afternoon didn't bump into one another and that the hours served little other purpose. But he was a much better sport about it than Silk was.
His own voice certainly isn't breathtaking or earth-shaking. It's friendly, a little colloqial, and perhaps a little older than it has any right to be.
Another nod.
"Are you new here? I haven't seen you around, is all."
"Oh. I suppose I missed you, then, or you don't come on the weekends? I was here a while before going home a bit and I thought I knew just about everyone by face if not by name. Then again, it's been a few years, so I might have just forgot."
She narrows eyes a bit. "And you also like to jump to assumptions and hurl insulting." And she turns away from him, not wanting to be snorted at for no reason at all.
"What have you been up to? Seems like we are around at different times, most of the time. At least, I havent seen you when I wasnt knee deep in homework."
"I just get bored sometimes. Seems like, besides meeting people, there isnt much for as teenager to do. Plus, I'm just interested in doing the right thing. A lot of people it seems are ready to do anythigthey want. Steering away from them is harder, but makes life more interesting when you dont. You been okay around here?"
"I think, many times, around here, people are afraid to approach others. Or they just dont want to get involved. Sometimes you have to approach them, show them you arent a threat and are willing to just talk. You have to become part of their lives by being there and being... I guess, not harmful."
"Then, maybe you should approach more people. If you are nie, and show interest and are generally good company, people will probably slowly start seeking you out."
he smiles. "I dont know really. The whole social thing is an utter mystery to me."

"It happens, to king and common folk alike. Sometimes I like being ignored. I've had quite enough time in the spotlight to last me a lifetime."

"I've mostly been doing homework and training. Beyond meeting a few new people, it's been pretty quiet."
He grins.
"I'm normally pretty boring in life."
