In a booth in one of the bar's many corners is Guppy, examining the contents of a large parcel, which would appear to be:
One bright red knitted jumper with a piccie of Bugs Bunny on one side and 'What's up Doc?' on the back.
One jar of jam, strawberry.
Some extremely solid rock cakes.
And a letter, which he is reading with interest.

This should keep you nice and warm over the winter. I asked Mrs Green down at the post office and she said that Bugs Bunny was all the rage at the moment, so I hope it makes you look very trendy. You also looked like you needed feeding up a bit, so I sent you some jam and cakes. Hope they didn't get squashed. I asked the postlady especially, and she said she would make sure they got to you safely.
I went around to have a little chat with your mum and dad, but I'm afraid I didn't manage to have much of an effect on them. I'm working on your grandfather. All I can say is that I'm still here for you. I will always be here for you. Any time you want to come and see me just give me a ring and I'll get your grandfather out of the house or meet you. Just remember you're not alone, and from what I hear, you are certainly not in the wrong.

She takes a seat, "Morning Guppy"

Guppy looks up.

"Hey Amanda. You okay? What's up?"

Well she's always asking him.

"I'm fine. It's that friend I was telling you about. He was down here earlier." Her worry for him is written all over her face.

Yes, but she is actually answering honestly.

"Would you like me to come and take a look at him?"

Okay, fair point. But if you've been reading the ooms and such you might be able to see why Guppy is so unhappy about talking about it. Bless.

"I think so, at the moment he is resting in his room."

I've read some of them. Was very happy to read about his Nana.

Well canonically he has to stay at least 'subdued' until the thirtieth, but the mun got one heck of a character bleed off him last night and decided enough was enough.

"Well we can go now or later. Just ~~tag~~ grab me when he's ~~online~~ awake if later is better."

Amanda nods, "Thank you"

"No problem, that's what I'm here for. Was that a 'now' or a 'later'?"

"I think now would be good"

He picks up the parcel, puts it behind the bar and follows her up.
