Duo strides up to Puck and swings a fist right at that smug grin.

Hey, that's rather an unfair assumption, isn't it? Puck is not, in fact, grinning smugly.

Not, that is, until he deftly dodges Duo's blow and hops onto the nearest table, milkshake cradled securely in one arm.

"Well, good even to you, Master Maxwell! I've missed you terribly."

"You little bastard," Duo hisses. "You leave him the hell alone."

Puck blinks, smirk fading into a look approaching innocence. He tenses, however, ready to move at an instant.

Voice remaining cheerful, he says, "I'm sorry? There are rather a lot of hims, dearest."

"You know exactly who I mean, Puck. Heero. I find you messing with him again and you will be very sorry. That's a promise."

Anthy checks carefully for signs of (a) pianos, (b) blue hair, and (c) baby birds.

She sees none. So it's probably a safe milkshake.

Chuchu slips a straw into it.

Puck glances wryly down at the little creature.

"I don't believe I offered to share," he purrs dangerously.

Chuchu hides the straw behind his back and beams; a halo briefly circles his head.

"Chu?"

A few seats away, Anthy quietly sips her tea.

She is an example for responsible pet owners everywhere.

Puck smiles back at Chuchu. His teeth are sharper.

"Boo," he whispers, one finger snaking out to flick the thing's forehead.

Whimpering, Chuchu flees down the counter to huddle behind Anthy's hand.

She gives Puck a reproachful look. "You scared him."

It is, quite possible, that it does.

Adric, curious as ever, has popped up seemingly from nowhere, as he is prone to do on the occasions when he's had too much sugar, "What is that exactly?"

The popping does not surprise him. Very little does.

"This?" Puck beams. "This, my dear, is among the msot delicious of mortal innovations. Not to be missed."

Adric's brow arches slightly at that, just a little, well, perhaps a little more than that, "Better than hot chocolate?"

He's quite familiar with hot chocolate, as well as chocolate milk, and brownies, and chocolate chips even.

Puck looks torn.

"Yes," he decides. "For these have iced cream in them. That trumps plain chocolate, I fear."

His brow furrowed then, chin resting on folded arms atop the back of his chair, he'd taken to sitting in them backwards today, just to give himself a different perspective he said, "They have what in them?"

She curtseys, and an illusion settles over her clothes.

Halo set at a rakish angle, of course.

He beams, then makes a grab for the dress.

"I've not worn one of these in many a mortal age, you know."

Morgan grins.

"Practice, practice then...I think I hemmed it right."

A very repentent looking cat walks up to the fae, his blue eyes lowered.

Námo has learned how unpleasant it is when someone assumes you are merely a cat dangles string before you.

If Puck is surprised that his name is known, he doesn't show it. He simply regards the cat appraisingly as he takes a long drag at his milkshake.

"You are fond of that shape, it would seem, one way or another."

Yes, I am. I feel less ... stiff as a cat. I still prefer my usual form, though.

He sits, his tail swishing slowly.
