Dear Susan,

After our discussion the other night, it ocurred to Door and myself that Ingress is not the only House of Arch child who will take the news of your leaving hard. Gavroche will, as well. Though he's older and more independent than Ingress, it will still be difficult for him, I fear.

If the opportunity arises for you to break the news to him, please do, but let me know straightaway by sending an owl to the House of Arch. If not, one of us will be with him when you do.
