OOM: Elaine and Ryan pick out a flat in the Staff Wing and move in--still in progress.

Elaine looks weary but incandescently happy as she comes down the stairs. She gets a hot chocolate from the Bar and sits down at the bar, looking for company, and to tell people that she's not in Room 12 anymore.

She's in a very good mood, come talk to her!

Sitting at a table nearby is a woman in a severe grey dress. A half-eaten plate of steamed vegetables sits nearby. Sipping a cup of hot tea, the woman is intently studying a book of mental puzzles, and riddles.

Elaine smiles, studying the woman. "Good even, Nin--oh. I'm sorry, you must pardon me...I rather thought you looked like an acquaintance of mine." She blushes.

The woman turned her icy blue eyes to Elaine. After removing the tip of her pen from her mouth, Mesaana turned her head and spoke to Elaine. Her voice is clear and cool with a tone like crystalline chimes.

"Mistaken appearances happen on occasion."

No, most definitely not Nina, then. Nina's eyes were green, besides. "Yes, they do. I have not seen you here before, then. Have you been here long?"

A slight shake of the head.

"No, I have not."

"I'm Elaine Le Blanke...I've been here for quite some time, so if you have any questions about the bar, don't hesitate to ask."

The lady does not seem very friendly, but Elaine is patient with people.

Mesaana watched her carefully with a tilt of her head.

"If I have any, then I will."

A sip of her tea.

And Elaine turns back to her hot chocolate. Elaine is friendly, but she's not going to press.
