The woman with the short dark hair in the shades and skin-tight leather looked around from her place in what appeared to be a foyer of sorts. She made a short call on a cell phone, and then started walking towards the bar.

New here, I take it?
no subject
Yes, you might say that. Could you tell me where I am?
no subject
So where and when are you from?
no subject
*thinks, making sure this isn't the matrix*
I'm from a ship, and we don't know when.
Who're you?

*thinking* Some mixed signals from this one. She doesn't pet me, but looks like she wants to. Better try again...

Behind the right ear, if you would. It itches.
no subject
Okay. *scratches behind the cat's right ear*
Uh, I'm Trinity.

I am Yrael.

*he stands* Excuse me, I need to stretch. *he leaps off her lap, as he does so his form seems to stretch and become liquid. Where the cat stood now stands a pale young man all in white. He rolls his shoulders, stretching.*
*he looks at her, smirking* Sorry. Laying down too long leads to the need to stretch.

You live in a bar? Where do you sleep? Don't you ever want to - can we go outside, here? Do you get bored?
*is slightly amused at the way (http://www.livejournal.com/community/milliways_bar/910713.html?thread=31909497#t31909497) her thoughts have been going as of late. Her most recent one involves what she would have been doing if he'd been in this human form instead of the cat one*
*Hm, I wonder if I can get a computer from the bar. Heh.*
no subject
*he give her a half-bow, his white hair flopping into his eyes* A drink for you, Trinity?
no subject
A squid?
*is no longer feeling any sort of adaptation. At all.*
Yes, I think I'll have that drink after all. I don't know what the bar offers but I'm going to need something strong.
*mutters as she rises* A squid.
*hopes Yrael will acompany her to the bar and, at some point, maybe, maybe sometime, to see the squid*
*gestures* Shall we?
no subject
*he accompanies her to the bar, then leans on it casually* What would you like? They serve everything here.
Bar, an Atomic Cat for me, please. And whatever Trinity will have, on my tab.
no subject
[OOC: I don't drink at all and so while I know what she wants I don't know what that would be.]
*Trinity then turns to face Yrael. She looks deep into his eyes - the first time she's really looked at someone since she's gotten here and says* Thanks.

*he looks at her drink* Ah, the Atlantean. Good choice. It is quite a fine white wine, though very potent. A smooth taste every time.
((ooc: I don't drink either. Underage, really. But the internet is a wonderful thing. *coughs* http://drinks.glowport.com/alph.html For those of us who don't really know what they're ordering. It is true, information is always free. I'm going to have to go pretty soon....))
no subject
Mm. Potent...
*Trinity drains the glass as quickly as she can and says*
You know where there's a computer around here I can use? Maybe a portable one to borrow? I need to make some notes --
*she ends abruptly. She is unsure why, exactly, she wants a computer. She doesn't use them in the matrix, really.... Heh, glorified word-processer if nothing else, she supposes*

I shall have to bid you good night, Trinity. It was a pleasure meeting you.
*He gives her another half-bow, looking up at her with his smirking green eyes, before leaving.*
no subject
Good night, and thank you.

*Val wanders over with a smile on her face*
Hi there, can I get you anything or help you with something?

Well, that seems to be the popular question from new people here. Welcome to Milliways bar, the restauraunt at the end of the universe.
*she gestures over to the universe-destruction windows*
Yes, the universe is ending out there, but we're not in any danger. It's a good long time before it even touches Milliways.
We don't really know why the Bar decides to bring some people here, but it does. So, have a seat, have a drink, and enjoy the company. You can get about anything you want, just ask either the bar, the barman, or me.
no subject
I'm Trinity. *nods*
*thinks a bit about the "more questions" she might have and decides to go through them now*
So the... bar. It brought me here. How do I get back?
no subject
I'm Valentine Wiggin. It's a pleasure to meet you.
Well, most people can just go out the front door and they're back in their worlds. Unfortunately, there are people like my brothers and I who are Bound here. We can't leave until we figure out something, or do something that the Bar wants us to do.
*She shrugs*
It's annoying at first, but you get used to the odd people here.
[OOC: So sorry for the delay. My laptop decided to boof for a moment or three.]
no subject
Pleasure.
*Odd people? Hm, maybe I can get to know certain..... maybe they'll.... ( !! )Is the One in here?*
When you leave, you go back to your world? So this isn't... *looks out the window once more, thinking that obviously this isn't *her* world* ...is this a world? What world? And what happens when you leave?
no subject
Well, it is a world in the sense that there are people here, and there seem to be people native to this... area. As to exactly what it's called, as far as I know, it's just -Milliways-. I've actualyl been trying to talk to people and understand for myself what it is around here. Well, from what I've heard, most people return to the moment they left their worlds. Some remember what happened, some don't. There are some that can come and go, and some who only come once.
*She shrugs*
I guess the main thing around here is that everyone and every situation is different.
no subject
I'm going to... *gestures to one of the more secluded tables*
Thanks for your help.
no subject
Not a problem. If you need anything else, please feel free to catch me. I'm always around somewhere in the bar.
