Hank McCoy makes his way to his usual table, just outside the Infirmary, settling on a chair and placing his laptop down first, following it with a large book, and a plate of dinner. How exactly he balances these things prior to setting them down is a mystery perhaps best left unanswered. However that happens and whatever the secret is, it is not what is on his mind today.
Today, Hank is instead thinking of the contrast between consistent practice of traditional medicine and medical procedures versus his own more altered approach of mixing said traditions with advanced and alternate medicines and technologies.
He pulls up a document on his computer in which he has taken some notes and scrolls slowly down the pages there so far, refreshing his memory of the already written notes. When he reaches the end, he thinks for several long moments and then begins to type, food forgotten.
Interruptions are welcome as always.

"Hello, Hank," he says as his hatchmate looks up. "Do you have a moment?"
no subject
"Good to see you, Iohor. I always have time for you."

"I've spoken to Lincoln and Jordan. My friends from that Mother-cursed Institute."
no subject
"Yes? what did they say?"

He takes a moment to get himself under control before continuing. "They approve of my idea of using my cave-warming party as a cover for an initial planning meeting," Naraht says. "They are also willing to trust us as to who we bring in that they don't already know."
Naraht calls up his tentative guest list on his computer.
Jordan 2-Delta
Lincoln 6-Echo
Barry Allan
Sara Sidle
Hank McCoy
Catherine Willows
Ray Stantz
John Sheppard
Peter Venkman
Eddie Kincade
Richard Sharpe
Amanda Darieux
Mary Anne Bell
Mercutio
"I've not yet spoken to Catherine regarding this, but I've included her for several reasons. First, part of our mission over there will be exposing this place. Input from several forensic experts on what to get and how to find it will be invaluable. Second...well, she is a friend and it would be highly out of character for me to not invite her."
Naraht chuckles. "There are several other people on this list who fit that description as well. But they are also going to be involved in fighting that demon invasion in Andrew's world. I think that I should wait until afterward before I tell them about this mess and see if they want to help. But that is what I have so far. Do you have any suggestions, or should we wait until after we meet before recruiting any more?"
no subject
"Sounds good to me. And those who dont actually want to come along could concievably serve the purpose of rear guard and reception for the returning members of the team that does go."
He nods.
"I will pass the word to Elrond and Magius, so they dont have to come, but can be briefed by me. They both are willing to participate in the raid."
He smiles at Naraht.
"It looks to me like you have it under control."

Naraht freezes mid-sentence. "Elrond? As in Lord Elrond of Rivendell?"
no subject
"The frist opart of any situation is to find out what your questions are. Looks like you are handling it. If I can do anything, let me know."
He smiles and gently lays a hand on Naraht's side.
"Yes, Elrond. Bruce and Billy are out of town right now, but Elrond and Magius are both here. We five formed a small Coterie, a group who met every few mornings, and talked. Nothing formal or special, but mostly because we all believe in hope and freedom. Kinda ended up in a lot of weird discussions. Maybe you can join us sometime."

"Your eyes are still the same beautiful color, you have the same shining smile, and you remind me of your sister, whom I knew before she got made into a teenager."
He grins.
"I am a Doctor and a scientist, and I am trained to observe."

He grins goofily.
