Námo sits in a chair near the fire, staring into it, brooding.

He's gotten good at the brooding.

Why yes, it is an imaginative entrance post.

This must be more of the law Jack spoke to him about.

"The whole dungeon thing?" he asks, but knows that is not the right word. "Prison. That was what Jack called it."

"Same difference, I guess," Abby said with a grin. Because they were both lock ups, anyway.

"And Jack? You've met Jack." He hadn't seen the man in a while, but if he was talking about Jack Bauer, well, she knew him.

He nods.

"I have spoken with Jack Bauer on two occasions. He is full of knowledge that he was kind enough to pass onto a very inquisitive Vala."

"How is he doing?" She asked, cocking her head to one side once again. She hadn't had a chance to check up on the man. She really should do that, see how he was holding up.

"The last time I spoke with him, he did not seem in distress, but we are not what I would call friends. We have not spoken often enough to build such a relationship. He explained Christmas to me. And what an iPod was."

He is proud he now holds the knowledge of these two things.

"He explained what an iPod is? How did the conversation turn that way?" Man, and to think that Gibbs didn't get electronics at all. And this guy was much older than Gibbs and from another world, nonetheless.

Námo chuckles.

"He was listening to his and I asked him what he was doing. You see, I am a creature of music, but we have no such thing as recorded music in my lands. He allowed me to hear the music in his, and to know that melody could be so easily obtained, I asked him to explain what it was."

He leaves out how he had once heard a radio, at Halloween, and believed that it was magic that fueled the device.

Damn Random for letting him believe such a silly notion.

"Hey, you're one step ahead of my boss. He still can't quite figure out CDs yet," Abby said with a chuckle, thinking about Gibbs. Really, she teased him about it relentlessly, but she did it out of affection.

He matches her with a chuckle of his own.

"I have come far from when I first entered the bar, but still not quite where I would like to be." He shrugs. "Such is life, though."

"There is much to know, grasshopper," she said in a mock-serious tone, nodding in a sage manner. You could easily tell that she was only playing around, though. Although there really was much to learn here.

"You're progressing, though! You learned some new stuff today, didn't you?" She added.

"Sprite Abby, you are very cheerful and wonderfully playful." He tilts his head and grins at her. "I do not find that often in those that speak with me. And yes, I have learned more terms today, as well as another facet of a world that intrigues me. One should always seek to learn."

"Then I'm a breath of fresh air!" Abby seemed to be satisfied with that. She knew that she was different from most people, and it made her happy when that affected someone in a positive way.

And Abby nodded at his other words, too.

"Knowledge is power." Which was a good thing. Well, unless you got the saying "Knowledge is power; power coruppts; study hard and be evil."
