Wandering through the bar is a vampire.
Not unusual, really, though this is of the apparently-fourteen variety. Harth casually sprawls down into an armchair, apparently engrossing himself in his book on cosmology.
He seems cheerful enough, so he probably won't attack anyone who pokes him.

She looks a little distracted.
no subject
And then smiles though it, too.
Huh.
no subject
It's a reasonably comfortable position.
no subject
Smiling.
Don't the scientific rationalisation of Black Holes just bring a warm fuzzy feelin' to your heart?
no subject
Which is fortunate, as there is no fuzzy here.
Just a lot of self-reflection, and a tinge of discomfort.
Whyever might that be?
no subject
As it is, he simply flicks to the back of the book to peruse the index, lips moving silently as he deliberates.
He's probably not planning anything demonic?
no subject
Then she looks up.
Oh.
Fuck.
no subject
He finds what he's evidently looking for and flicks back to the front of the book, adjusting his glasses with the practised move of one who's always worn them.
no subject
She can barely breathe.
Jesu, he looks just like he did before.

All the kids in Haddyn are pale - lack of natural light will do that.
The only real difference visible can generally only be noticed when he moves - speed and grace were never a part of her younger brother.
Can't really tell when he's curled up with a book about the stars.

Could be guilt.
Could be sorrow.
Could be rage.
Could be the start of a cold.
no subject
He doesn't look up.
no subject
"Funny. I never remember you worrying about that."

Well, obviously.

"Glad you see that. S'a book about cosmology. Star's are interestin'."

*Thom holds out a hand* My name's Thom. Pleased to meet you.
no subject
"Harth. Likewise."
His skin is undead-cold, but that's likely not something that will bother Thom.
no subject
Where're you from?
no subject
"...That would be in New York. Earth. There's not many have heard of it. You?"
