Hank bounces in from Xavier's through the Door and smiles as he sees Milliways again. He heads directly for the Bar and settles on a stool as he ponders what to have for breakfast. A quick decision later and he is eating a large platter with several items on it and sipping from a large mug of strong coffee.

He watches the Bar as he eats, smiling.

"Morning Hank."

There is a not-quite-awake Guppy by his side, eating toast.

Hank grins as he waves a fork full of waffle and bacon.

"Hello, Guppy!"

"How are you?" Guppy asks, stifling a yawn as he sits down next to Hank.

"I am doing marvelously, My dear medically inclined companion. How goes your perambulation through this dimensional domicile?"

"I'm okay thanks. Cheated time last night to try and sleep my headache off before work and am now somewhat jetlagged."

He yawns. "Nothing to do with the sleeping tablets, which are working great. I just happen to be on nights."

He nods.

"Sometiems work ends up that way. I hope it smoothes out for you."

Hank grins.

"It has been some peaceful days. This is a godo thing, I think."

Guppy shrugs a little. "I don't really mind it. Someone has to be there at night."

He nods. "Yes, I'd agree. Things are stable my end at the very least, and I'm guessing the vacation is making things quieter at the institute."

He returns the grin. "No mass influx of DIY accidents for you methinks."

He nods.

"Nope. Not so far."

He shakes his head.

"Some small advantages to working at a private place."

Guppy sips his tea.

"I expect you still get plenty of slips, falls and flu."

"Not to mention interdimensional incidents, time travelers, demonic attacks, giant robots, power explosions, and injuries frommthe inevitable mansion destruction."

Guppy raises his eyebrows a little.

"I would say we don't tend to get those in Holby, but that would be tempting fate. I wouldn't count out the power explosions anyway. Why is the mansion going to be destroyed?"

Hank grins.

"It is inevitable. Every six months to a year, the mansion gets bvlown up."

He chuckles.

Guppy shakes his head.

"That must be phenominally expensive."

"Oh, it is, and frustrating. nmost of the time it isnt the whole thing, just a large part of it, but it is still highly annoying."

he chuckles.

"Thankfully, we are rather good at rebuilding."

Guppy smiles. "I suppose you would be by now. Doesn't it worry the parents a bit?"

Hank grins.

"That would require telling them whenever it happens. In truth, we usually do and we tell them why. Things are a little different in my world. Most of ther students couildnt get as good a education anywhere else in my world."

"I don't doubt that." Guppy replies, having always had the greatest respect for Hank and his abilities. "And I would imagine having mutant abilities would make it somewhat difficult to fit into mainstream education at times."

He sips his tea. "What do you teach, out of interest?"

"It varies, but mostly higher asciences and mathematics, plus two physical classes. Fighting against Beings bigger and faster than You and Dodging."

he grins.

"It is okay. I admit to not being all that fond of teaching most days, but it isnt a bad thing and I believe it needs to be done."

"You have an entire class dedicated to dodging? I never realised there was so much to it."

He gets up. "Anyway, I have to head off. See you later."

Hank nods.

"Have a good day, Guppy."
