"Ah, yes. Those Ewoks." Sagely, complete with equally sage nod. "The fur's just a clever ruse to make you think they're not evil and deadly. I'm sure you'll do a great job of menacing them."

"I will!" Cera assures him. "Because I'm mean and menacing! Grrr!"

Wash nearly chokes from trying so hard to hold back a laugh. Even then, it doesn't quite work; he's smiling again, eyes alight with amusement.

"So tell me about this Wes guy," he says, taking the chance to sit down on one of the nearest stools, moving the crutches out of the way as he goes. "He tell you anything about how he flew?"

"What's an X-wing?" she asks after a while.

"You know, I have no idea," he says. "Heard of 'em, but -- they don't have them in my 'verse. They're sort of like what I use when I fly, though, just shaped differently."
