They say that ignorance is bliss. They're probably right. In spite of this fact, April O'Neil had wandered in and up to the bar, wrapped in copious layers of coat and sweater and scarf and hat, only her blue eyes and rather pink nose and cheeks visible until she began the tedious task of unwrapping herself.
"Large coffee, please, with- Oh, thank you. Perfect," she murmured to Bar, pulling off her gloves to clutch the warm mug that had appeared before her.

"Oh I think you have the worst end of it. I just use the intenet to order and wait at a contact point for the delivery. God forbid I should wander into those crowds right now."
There is a bit of a real shudder in his move this time. Bruce doesnt do well with crowds.

"I understand. If you ever need anything, yiou can look it up on my laptop and I can order it and pick it up from my world's services. There are several which deliver to drop points for those whio lead busy lives."
He smiles faintly. He has had to use such often.

"Yes, I do, when I am with those who matter. Which Milliways provides."
he grins at her and pats a bag next to his leg, eyeing it, and then reaching down inside.
"Now let me see, where was that...?"

"Merry Christmas, April. And thank you for being the first oen to believe ion me for me."
The package contains several first editions of books, as well as a recent study on the advancements of raditative sciences as heloping those mutated by it's effects, with notes by Bruce to translate some oft he harder parts. And finally there is a crystal rose.

Holding it up to her ear, she gave it a very gentle shake. "Should I open it now, or wait?" she asked, smiling.

"Ah-ah, you havwe to wait. It is not quite Christmas yet, you know!
He grins at her.
"You helped me when none else did. A friend in need as they say."

Then he blinks and returns the squeeze.
"Thanks. I would."
Then he rolls his neck cracking it slightly.
"A long night... what have you been up to? Other then the dreaded shopping?"

Silly question, really. Of course something exciting had happened.

"First, the Other returned. He apparently had been here before, a malevolent alternate universe version of Tim Hunter hated the bar. He came here and started cursing people, subtly and unsubtly, but it took awhile for everyone to realize what was happening. He was caught and defeated,a nd the curses were broken, but it left scars, a lot of them."
He sits and shifts slighty.
"Then Andre Wells found out that a disaster was going to befall some people on his world and he recruited a group from here to go and fight to prevent it. About twenty people went and every one came back, but it was hard."

He smiles wryly.
"This place can get rather big on a fellow."
