Wes isn't entirely sure when this Earth holiday is, but he supposes it's soon, and he also supposes he ought to be getting things for a few people, if it's like Fete Week. Other people have given him gifts already, after all.

So he's sitting at the Bar with a chocolate milkshake and a sheet of paper with some scrawled names, which he's staring at thoughtfully.

Oh ... and he's wearing a very big, very bright and very absurd dress. Complete with pretty floral bonnet.

No, he has no idea why Bar's put him in this; he glances down at himself every so often and pulls a face.

"Kriffin' women's clothing again."

"Oh yes, sh..." Mel clasps her hands over her mouth, shocked, and holds them tehre, before removing them carefully. "...does."

"Oh," Wes starts in a resigned sort of way, and stops, mildly surprised when the rest doesn't follow of its own accord.

"...well," he says, and facepalms again.

"...OK, what the rut was that?"

"I don't know," he whines. "It won't happen again, will it?"

He looks round warily.

"I ruttin' well hope not," Mel says, slightly panicked.

"We can't let it," Wes decides. "It can try, but we'll just refuse to let it, right?"

With some help from the boys and girls in the audience?

"Right," Mel replies. "We'll just... not do it."

And if you see us starting it, you'll stop us, won't you, boys and girls?

[undignified]

Wes nods firmly. "We're strong enough to beat it," he says, throwing Bar a wary glance.

They're such nice and helpful boys and girls, aren't they?
