The door opens and Angelina walks into the bar. She's wearing a dark knee length skirt, and a sparkly kind of top and she's carrying a bag of gifts. If you know her, and you're a friend, chances are you've got one.
She carries the bag of gifties over to a booth, orders a drink from Bar (along with which she recieves Sheila's note, but she doesn't read it yet), and then settles herself down at the previously mentioned booth to see if any of her friends come in.

I walk up behind her, lean over her shoulder and whisper in her ear, "Got anything for me in your bag?"
no subject
"Happy Christmas."

I give her a kiss.
"Though, I am sorry to say, I haven't had time to do any shopping..."

Inside is a what looks like a small hand mirror, but it doesn't reflect the face looking into it. Instead, there are shadowy, indistinct figures moving around. It's a Foe-Glass.

Do you have any idea how awkward it is to try to unwrap a present with one good hand and one hand that barely has the use of three fingers? Yeah, charred flesh under a leather glove is so much fun.

Angie would have had to be a fool not to have noticed before now that he wears one leather glove and not the other, and although she's wondered why she's never asked. Now as she watches him awkwardly attempt to unwrap the gift, it's almost all she can do not to ask. She's frowning though, alot.

The paper's off the gift - and I'm not really sure what this thing is - aside from a really strange mirror.

"Uh, if it works in my world, then yeah, it could come in pretty handy."

"Merry Christmas!"
He hands her a small box from him, then feels a tugging from the bag. He blinks and looks down at it and then pulls out a long thin box. and hands that to her as well.
The small box has homemade fudge and Hank's Guide to the weird thing of the World of Marvels, which contains a bunch of stories from his world. The long thin box contains a state of the magical art broom.

"And thank you. But... do I know you?"
no subject
"Nope. I'm playign Santa today, litrally, sometimes."
He puts down his bag and smiles and reaches out a hand to shake.
"Doctor Hank McCoy at your service."

"A pleasure to meet you too. And dont worry about it. Giving is what gives me pleasure, especially this time of eyar."
he grins.
"Are you going to open them?"
no subject
The fudge gets a big smile, and a thank you, and the book certainly looks interesting.
But if her reaction to those is nothing compared to the one when she opens the broom. She squeals with delight and almost jumps out of her seat, grining from ear to ear.
"Oh my god, you can't be serious!"
no subject
"Ah, good, yes?"
Watching her open the presents, he grins wider.
no subject
"This is so much better than my old broom. But how did you know what I'd want? And why are you spending so much on someone you don't know?"

"Hey there stranger."
no subject
"Hi Tim. What are you doing up there?"
no subject
He drops into a seat beside her.
"Merry Christmas!"
And there is a hug. If she's observant, and I don't remember if she knows yet, she might notice the missing wedding ring.
no subject
No she doesn't know yet, and yes she does notice the ring, or the lack thereof. It gets a raised eyebrow, but she doesn't ask about it. After all there are plenty of reasons why he might not be wearing the ring, not all of them bad.
no subject
"Gods, I haven't seen you in ages! How you been keeping yourself?"
no subject
How about you?"
no subject
Tim takes a deep breath, then smiles.
"Well... Uhm. There was the thing. With the guy. And I took care of him. Shredded him and what not. Then I got in an argument with god, with ended up with me Bound here.Ace divorced me Then there was andrews war, and since then, I've been busy working on christmas presents."

"Ace did what? What happened?"
