Jack makes his way carefully downstairs, a tiny, well-wrapped bundle in his arms. First matters first: a brief trip outside to the willow tree ("Auntie Shee, darling,"), and then back inside to the warmth of the fireplace and some supper and holiday cheer.

There is a Santa-fied Hank, with four presents, who stops at his side.

He grins.

"Merry Christmas to you an yours."

Each box is labeled.

Jack says one and it contains a box of seeds, all from aliens owrlds, that can be grown on earth soil with care. It also contains a book on exotic animals of the hunt.

Sheila Says one, and it contains water of the Nexus of realities. Guaranteed to stimulate life and hope and strength.

Gil says another, and it contains a book of earth and alien insects, of every size and shape, and also a book ont he CSi sciences of other wrorlds.

And finally Georgia, says the last, and contains a small jumper in Jack's colors, and a small little bracelet of a stringy material. That comes with a card. This is from the Nexus. A reminder that whatever possibilities you see for yourself, you can become. Every few moments it changes color and will grow with her.

hank smiles(close-lipped) at teh baby.

"Greetings and Merry Christmas, fair Georgie. May you ever be happy and welcome."

He smiles.

"Doctor Hank McCoy, at your service. I think we met briefly at your wedding."

"How is your Christmas going?"

He has heard a little of what has happenend through the grapevine but nothing major.

[personal profile] inquisitivehero 2005-12-26 01:01 am (UTC)(link)
"At least it is interesting..."

Hank grins.

"Sounds about like my friends and family. Throw in an evil twin and time travel and it just might be."

Hank grins and shakes his head.

"Then let us not tempt it and hope instead for good twins and good fortune, for now and the new year."

He grins at the little one, then back to Jack.

So... what kind of tree?"

[personal profile] inquisitivehero 2005-12-26 01:12 am (UTC)(link)
"Indeed? I will have to go out and meet her. Tis not every day you meet a tree who used to be a lady."

he grins.

"She is in a good spot for the Winter?"

[personal profile] inquisitivehero 2005-12-26 01:19 am (UTC)(link)
hank grins.

"Conversation can be overrated. Sometimes, all you need is a nice place by a tree, where you can sit and talk."

He eyes jack for a moment.

"Since she is your sister, I take it she is a goddess as well?"

[personal profile] inquisitivehero 2005-12-26 01:27 am (UTC)(link)
"Indeed? Cool!"

Hank loves old knowledge. He will undoubtedly look up everything he can find about her soon.

"What do you do? to pass the time, I mean. Obviously you have a baby now, but... I am curious I admit as to what a God does for hobbies."

[personal profile] inquisitivehero 2005-12-26 02:03 am (UTC)(link)
"Intriguing. Sounds interesting. Maybe we should hire you next time the lawn gets destroyed..."

[personal profile] inquisitivehero 2005-12-26 02:22 am (UTC)(link)
"No salt... usualy, bombs, lasers, asteroids, frost, fire... those kinds of things."

[personal profile] inquisitivehero 2005-12-26 02:30 am (UTC)(link)
"Once every six months or so?"

Hank grins.

"I think it would eb good to have a landscaper we wouldnt have to hide all the strangeness from."

[personal profile] inquisitivehero 2005-12-26 02:52 am (UTC)(link)
Hank grins.

"I believe you. Hopefully we wont need your services soon, but I will keep that thought. Anyway, i should keep moving. I hope you have a wonderful night!"
