Red light go, green light stop.
Green light stop, red light go.
Or something like that.
Aeon Flux is, mysteriously as ever, in the bar.
At least she's not in the rafters this time?

Well, she'd seen weirder.
"Got a name, stranger?"

"I'm Aeon. Do you always speak in green, or are you feeling especially merry this Christmas?"
Not that she celebrated Christmas, but she'd gotten the idea it was the thing to do, here.

"Mostly. But I like your style. It has more flair." she adds, decidedly amused.

So, crazy, then. Well, whatever. Who wasn't?
"Aeon Flux, and by the way, I'd be careful of those bat men if I were you. That experiment went wrong decades ago, if one believes the rumors."

"Cats and dogs. Cats and mice, really." she adds.
She feels no need to reveal yet that she's one of the people in question.

Bats aren't my thing, though, so don't worry. Your territory's safe."

Especially if it's a a smoking hot chick wearing just enough PVC not to break rule three. Goldy manages to get her lustful eyes under control, and raises a pleasantly festive smile.
"Merry Christmas..." fake pause, "I'm sorry, I'm not sure we've met before."

"I'm not in the habit of forgetting faces." she explains. "Aeon Flux. People still celebrate Christmas here? How quaint."

"I'm Goldilocks. From the fairy tale, if you are familiar with it."
There's a good chance she isn't.

"Things of the very distant past. Banned, probably, not that I ever let that stop me. Imprints on a long-dead cultural consciousness that I'm no longer a functioning member of."
A pause, and then,
"...but it's nice to meet you."
no subject
"You too, Miss Flux. You're not missing out on much, really. The tales are just snapshots of our lives."
An eyebrow quirks. "I like your outfit, but are you not cold?"
no subject
"Though some would argue on the matter of my personality."

"So what'd you to to get into story books?" she asks, idly.
no subject
"But I've done much worse since."
no subject
"Tell me about it?" she asks, quirking an eyebrow.
She may just be humoring the girl, or she may be genuinely interested in sordid tales of crimes that aren't her own. It is hard to tell.

"Well there was the revolution I incited to try and overthrow the human Fables and get myself in the position of power in Fabletown. Um, how about the attempted assassination of Snow White when she helped to quash that move? Followed, some months later, by the attempted assassination of Snow White and her now husband, the Big Bad Wolf."
Impassive sniff. "And then a life as a petty assassin in the world of the Mundys."
She's had a few drinks this Christmas Day. She would normally refer to them as non-Fables.

"So you missed the big prey twice. Why are you wasting your time here instead of trying for a third strike?" she asks.
It's what she'd be doing, after all.
If she uh, wasn't taking time out to sleep with said prey, first.
