The House of Arch goes all out for Christmas. Gift-giving is an important part of their tradition. Therefore, there are many gifts to be given this day. Luckily, trading in London Below is not the same as spending in London Above, and Tom has plenty of Voldemort's gold in that case.

Tom's first stop, with family in tow, is the Tonks-Wrangle flat, where Dora and Bernard are gifted with a deluxe Harvey Nichols Gift Hamper.

Sunny receives a Rocking Lion and a winter dress.

'Dora also receives an open-ended certificate to a day at The Witch's Rest, an exclusive spa in the Cotswolds, and a handwritten coupon for a day of babysitting provided by Tom and Door.

Once those presents are delivered, the House of Arch family returns to their own celebrations - things have been eerily quiet in the Below, for which they've all been thankful.

Tom soon returns with a large stack of presents to place under the tree. The last Floating Market was in Harvey Nichols, and while one is not supposed to shop amongst the Topsiders' items, Tom couldn't help but pick up a few things. It's been a hectic holiday season, after all, and if one can't bend the rules as Lord of the House of Arch, then that's just sad.



Crowley and Aziraphael will share a Hamper with wine. Aziraphael also recieves a "The new Testament in Englishe after the greeke translation annexed with the translation of Erasmus in Latin", 1550 which Tom found under a birdcage in a stall at a Floating Market. Crowley is gifted with Tom's favorite book: Thee Wicked Historie of Parseltongue and Those Who Speake It (complete with Tom's corrections and snarky comments in the margins)

For Charlie:A 1939 Gibson guitar, found in a corner of a floating market stall.

For Moiraine: A blue cloak

For River: A black sequined pashmina shawl

For Anthy: A raspberry silk and pashmina shawl

For Meg: Lavender pashmina shawl

And finally, for Lilly: Blue green pashmina shawl

(Door and Ingress helped pick these out, and each got one for their own under the tree as a result, since they were so very enthusiastic about shawls this year.)

For Val: Ink, quill, and journal

For Eddie and Susannah - A hamper plus a reference book for Eddie called Hot Toddies

Bartemius Crouch, Draco Malfoy, and Professor Merriman both receive a copy of the same book - Defense Against the Dark Arts: Advanced Techniques and Theoretical Applications. Merriman's includes a letter from Tom thanking him for his advice this past year, and invites Merriman for a discussion over the book and its ideas.

For Alanna: Green leather bracers

For Mel, from Gavroche, is something similar: black dragon leather bracers

Yrael, Bill and Fleur, Raven, Faith, Indy, Nita, Rabbit, Mike, Raph, Svava, Xander, Anne, and Amy also receive gift hampers full of delicious treats, as the children get to help pick out presents for people, even if Tom and Door don't know them. It's the giving and not the receiving, after all.

For Malcolm Reynolds and the crew of Serenity, a deluxe hamper is waiting (OOC: even if I can't get the link right - it's one of the fancy ones).

Blodwen gets a white stocking with coal in it. Lots of coal.

There are hampers left under the tree in the Front Gallery for all of the House of Arch families, including the Pevensies and their friends, the Skywalkers, the Fables family (with toys for the children).

Arithon receives gold and black leather bracers and for Hunter there are bone arm guards.
